"Ann isn't here, she's sick." Hosuh explained, gesturing to the empty spot to his left at the middle of his seat.
"Who's Ann?" You ask curiously.
"Dan's little girlfriend!" Stephen butted in. You turned to Daniel, who looked flushed.
"She is not! I just hang out with her a lot!" Dan rebuked. Stephen laughed.
"And what do you do when you hang out? I bet you make out!"
"We do not!"
"Where's your proof?"
At this point, Stephen and Daniel were in a somewhat-friendly face off. You expected the next voice to be Daniel's and were surprised to hear Jay's.
"Stephen May be the most childish person I've met, but he does have a point. You seem to have taken a liking to her."
Jay's voice had a slight Korean accent, but it wasn't as strong as Hosuh's. Everyone turned to him.
"See? Even Jay agrees!" Stephen flails his arms around once again, gesturing them towards the seemingly unphased boy.
"You two share a singular braincell, I'm not worried about what he thinks." Daniel scoffed. Jay looked slightly annoyed at this.
"Whatever." Stephen sat down, sighing and giving up. Apparently he had stood up slightly because you didn't notice the absence of weight in the seat until he sat back down. "Anyways y/n, I still can't believe Daniel got a girlfriend before me. The great Stephen always beats Daniel at everything!"
You laugh some more. "You'll get a girlfriend soon." You reassure him.
You could feel his gaze shift to you, but you didn't want to turn to him and make it awkward.
"Yeah, maybe I will."
