"Ah. We're here."
The words seemed to escape your mouth, and they sounded rather disappointed. To be honest, you didn't want to be there, despite how much you had yearned for it shortly before. Stephen unwrapped his arm from behind your neck.
"Yeah, guess so." Stephen murmured. There was a hint of disappointment in his voice, too. You both stepped under the porch.
You give him a hug, not thinking twice about it. His hoodie lifted slightly and you felt your cold hands meet his warm skin. You felt the soft fabric of his hoodie against your face and you couldn't help but pull a little closer. Shortly after, he hugs back, dropping the umbrella. You felt like that moment could last forever.
You finally let go, looking up into his eyes once more. They shined with this new glint of a feeling you've never seen nor experienced before. Both of your faces were red, and he turned away and moved so you could get in. You started to unlock the door.
"Hey, before you go.."
His voice was soft and sweet. You turn around, facing him.
"Can.. can you lend me your phone? I can put my number in so we can talk more."
His voice was so sheepish, which was so much unlike him. You nodded, pulling out your phone with a smile and handing it to him.
You waited for him to finish, and he handed you back your phone.
"See ya, y/n."
His voice was of an angel's.
"See ya, Stephen."
