Deceit hadn't told Remy about what had happened with Emile. He had asked if he was called in often.
Remy said it happened at least four times a month. Deceit frowned. He was worried for what that did to Emile.
"It's time to go shopping to decorate your room!"
Deceit nodded.
"I can't come. My partner and I have to find the families that Dee told us about. I'm sorry."
Deceit shook his head and signed quickly.
Get them back safe. Please. They're like siblings.
Remy smiled and nodded. He then grabbed his sunglasses, coffee, and walked out.
Deceit held Emile's hand, noticing he had watched Remy leave with worry evident in his eyes.
Emile looked down at him and smiled softly. "Let's go Scales."
Deceit nodded and followed him out the door.

They reached the mall and Emile parked the car.
"Ready kiddo? Let's go get some clothes for you first." Emile was mostly just excited about going shopping. Normally he went shopping by himself because Remy thought it was boring.
Emile clapped his hands and grinned. "Come on!" he began to walk quickly to the nearest shop.

After a morning of torture Deceit finally got to sit down. Emile had gone to get food from one of the buffets.
His phone that Remy had given him that morning buzzed.
Remy to PerfectChild: how are you?
Deceit to Coffee: save me! Smiley wants to go to every store!
Remy to PerfectChild: sorry Dee, you're on your own.
Deceit to Coffee: noooooo! HelP!
As no reply came Deceit put away his phone. He saw Emile coming back with the food and smiled as he put it down.
Emile smiled back and handed him his food. "Eat up Scales, we'll be grabbing the paints and leaving after this.
Truth of the matter was, Emile and Remy had planned a party for Deceit.
Remy did some digging and found that he was friends with two people. He tracked them down and found them.
