Yellow sat up, gasping. All the world was silent. His dream had been full of fear, and flames, and dark, and cold, and pain, and heartache. He sat for a moment more. He smelled noises from the silence, he could see the colors of his mind. Forest Green. Vibrant Purple. Baby Blue. Navy Blue. Wine Red. The silence was blissful and welcoming, yet ominous, and threatening, as though it would swallow him whole any moment-

Thoughts that go like bullets through you

Their words pierced his heart.

The time you told me that you wish you were dead

He could feel the blood flowing out and watering the field of roses beneath it with poison that only those flowers could withstand. The blood turned black as it reached the petals, slowly sliding down the petal as Yellow fell.

But so broken on when you can't stop choosing

Yellow cried, though he couldn't make a sound.

To sleep through your alarms,

His tears slipped past his fingers as he covered his face.

Man you're losing your head

He heard their voices, calling him. He ran.

The thoughts that go like bullets through you

The voices stayed next to him as he ran. He cried for the end.

The time you told me that you wish you were dead

He couldn't bare hear Green's voice saying he was weak.

(Can't stop)

But so broken on when you can't stop choosing

Nor Purple's saying he was horrid. Either Baby Blue's saying he was useless.

To sleep through your alarms,

Also Navy Blue's saying he would go nowhere.

man, you're losing your head

And Wine Red's telling him he was running for nothing.

(Can't stop)

Thoughts that go like bullets through you

Head in hands, Yellow fell and screamed.

The time you told me that you wish you were dead

He wanted it to end. He couldn't take it.

But so broken on when you can't stop choosing

The screams of the lost and abandoned. All the hurt falling in black tears.

To sleep through your alarms,

He could hear them yelling. Yellow heard them calling him.

Man you're losing your head

He stood up and continued stumbling through the sharp blades of grass that were his thoughts. He yelled in exasperation. Wanting out of this nightmare.

The thoughts that go like bullets through you

They caught him. shook him.

The time you told me that you wish you were dead

(Can't stop)

He yelled and cried. He didn't want this.

But so broken on when you can't stop choosing

Yellow was exhausted. He closed his eyes tightly to shut them out.

To sleep through your alarms,

Green yelled, Purple screamed, both in pain.

man, you're losing your head

Yellow opened his eyes.

(Can't stop)

Nightmare.
