"Hi, Marinette! Have you seen Adrien?" Kagami asks
"No, sorry," Marinette says.
"Hi, Marinette or should I say loser with the pigtails and Kagami loser at the same place? Classic," Chloe remarks rudely.
"Chloe leave them alone,'' Adrien says.
"Th-Thanks, A-Adrien!" Marinette says.
"Yes, thanks Adrien," Kagami says. She thinks he is cute but just a friend.
"Hi, what is your New Year Plan's Kagami?" Nathaniel asks.
"Well, I do not have any," Kagami answers.
"I am surprised because you are beautiful," Nathaniel says and blushes immediately afterward.
"Thanks, Nathaniel," Kagami says.
"Happy New Year, well I must be going," Marinette says. She leaves.
Adrien looks sad after she walks away, and thinks "Marinette why did you go?"
"Adrien, what is the matter? I thought you just said Marinette and you were just friends." Kagami remarks.
Nathaniel listens into Kagami and Adrien's conversation.
"Yes, but I want to be more than friends with Marinette," Adrien says.
"Then, tell her how you feel," Kagami says.
"Kagami will you out with me?" Nathaniel asks.
"Sure, Nathaniel, I would love too." She holds his hand and smiles.
Marinette is back home. "Marinette what is wrong?" Tikki asks.
"Tikki, it is the New Year, Adrien does not like me. He likes Kagami," Marinette says.
"Oh, I see someone is jealous," Tikki says. She thinks, Adrien loves Marinette.
"Marinette, you have nothing to worry about because Nathaniel and Kagami like each other," Tikki says.
Later at the Agreste mansion, "Adrien, come on spill it." Plagg says.
"Not, now Plagg," Adrien says and hands him some cheese.
"Thanks for the cheese, now mind telling me what troubles you? It is New Year's Day!" Plagg says,
"Nothing, it is nothing," Adrien sighs.
