"Marinette, wait!" Adrien calls out after Marinette.
"My father says the company went bankrupt because someone embezzled money from the company," Adrien explains.
"This is awful, " Alya says.
Marinette stops, and says, "Well, I think this stinks."
"Me too man, I can not believe my best friend will not live in Paris anymore," Nino says.
"This is so awful because we will all miss you so much," Marinette says.
"Are you sure nothing can be done so you won't have to move?" Marinette asks.
"Marinette, there is nothing that can be done," Adrien says.
"We have to start over in a new place so my dad can start over where no one knows him. Plus, he has to go to court to meet whoever sues him." Adrien explains.
Chloe shows up at the park next. "Why is everyone so glume on such a nice day?" Chole asks.
"Chloe, did not my father tell you were moving away in a few days?" Adrien asks.
"Haha, nice joke Adrikins, but April's Fools Day is long past you know," Chole says.
"I have to go, bye, A-Adrien!" Marinette says. She frowns and runs off.
Adrien chases after her and catches up to her.
"Marinette, please do not go," Adrien says. He hugs her and thinks, I wish I did not have to move so far away from you.
"Marinette, I promise when I am much older, I will come back for you," Adrien says.
"Adrien, I-I..." Marinette says sadly and runs off again.
Adrien thinks, why is she so upset? Is she really that hurt that I have to move?
