Present Day: ASGARD
Throne Room

Loki being escorted with many guards, two guards holding the chains, connected to his cuffs, he stands in shackles before the Allfather to face punishment for his crimes upon Midgard aka Earth. King Odin sits on the throne, Queen Frigga sits near the throne, looking at Loki worriedly.

Frigga seeing her son for the first time since his 'death' (From Book 3 [Thor]), "Loki."

Loki greets as he turns his head to the right, "Hello mother. Have I made you proud?"

Frigga steps towards Loki, pleading, "Please, don't make this worse."

Loki exclaims, "Define 'worse'."

Odin interrupts lightly, "Enough!" Loki looks at Odin, "I will speak to the prisoner alone." Frigga gives Loki one last look before turning around and exits the throne room. Loki steps forward a bit and laughs.

Loki smiling with amusement at the situation, "I really don't see what all the fuss is about."

Odin asks Loki, "Do you not truly feel the gravity of your crimes?" Loki's amused smile slowly disappears as he listens, "Where ever you go there is war, ruin and death."

Loki narrows his eyes, defending himself, "I went down to Midgard to rule the people of Earth as a benevolent God. Just like you."

Odin shakes his head a bit, "We are not Gods. We are born, we live, we die. Just as humans do."

Loki moves his head side to side, thinking, "Give or take 5,000 years."

Odin states the obvious truth, "All this because Loki desired... a throne."

Loki quickly exclaims loudly, "It is my birthright."

Odin fires back just as loudly, "Your birthright... was to die." He speaks normally, "As a child." He leans forward in his seat, "Cast out onto a frozen rock. If I had not taken you in, you would not be here now to hate me."

Loki steps forward, saying almost pleadingly—clearly affected by Odin's statement of him as a child, "If I'm for the axe then for Mercy's sake, just swing it." He looks down, hiding his truth feelings—hurt and sadness, "It's not that I don't love our little talks it's just..." He looks up at Odin, "I don't love them."

Odin tells Loki, "Frigga and Lady Sue is the only reason you're still alive, and you'll never see them again." Loki inhales sharply at the mention of Sue, it goes unnoticed, "You'll spend the rest of your days in the dungeon." The two guards pull on his chains, making Loki step back a bit.

Loki scoffs in disbelief and hurt, "And what of Thor? You'll make that witless oaf King while I rot in chains?"

Odin explains, "Thor must strive to undo the damage you have done. He'll bring order to the nine realms and then, yes..." The guards grabs Loki's shoulders, "He will be King."
