Selena's POV
"Is that Katherine's phone?" I asked, utterly confused as to why my number and text was on the screen held in front of my face.
Ms Lovato frowned her eyebrows. "Kath- no, it's mine." She shook her head.
My eyes widened, suddenly getting why she was pissed off. I pointed at her phone. "That text," I shook my head frantically. "I thought it was someone else. I-"
I got interrupted by a teacher walking by. She smiled at us. Both ms Lovato and I figured talking in front of the principal's room and in the hall of the teachers room would catch a lot of attention.
"Go to the library." She whispered.
I nodded and walked away. I passed by mr Roberts' classroom who glared at me. I, on the other hand, poked my head in and enthusiastically waved at my friends. They didn't question why I didn't come back in. I quickly texted Caroline though, telling her I'll be waiting in the parking space once the hour is over.
I arrived at the library, where no soul was at. It's the last hour, meaning nearly everyone has class and the ones who don't, sneak out and go home earlier. I sat at a table and looked around. Ms Lovato wasn't here yet. She walked in a few minutes later.
"So," She started. "what the fuck?"
I smiled at the sound of my classy ass teacher cursing. "Yeah, me too." I laughed. "Why and, more importantly, how do you have my number?" I leaned on my hand.
She licked her lips nervously and sat down in the seat next to me. "So you actually don't remember me? Not even a little bit?" She asked.
"I feel like I should, now?" I more asked than said. "I'm sorry, but no."
She bit her lip and looked up. She was finding words to explain and I was getting nervous. Besides how nervous I was, I also noticed how pretty she actually is. Her skin was clear and looked soft, her eyes were a pretty shade of brown and although she looked pretty tired, she still was the most adorable teacher I've ever had.
I was staring at her and didn't realize she had asked me a question until she snapped her fingers in front of my face.
"Did you or not?" She raised an eyebrow.
I smiled innocently. "I'm sorry, I didn't get the question."
Her lips formed a smirk. "I asked you if you went to any clubs last summer break."
One of my eyebrows went up. Why would she ask that? "Um, tons yeah, why?"
She rolled her eyes. "You're too young for that." She pointed out.
"Did you ask me to preach me about being too young for that?" I crossed my arms.
"No," She shook her head. "okay this might sound really really weird." She pursed her lips together for a few seconds. "I know why you seemed familiar to me a few weeks ago."
"Did we run into each other in a club?" I asked, still not getting it.
She laughed quietly. "There's more to that." She grabbed her purse and searched through it. "Here." She threw a wrinkled piece of paper in front of me. I looked at it and back to her with a questioning face. "Open it." She nervously said.
I took the little paper and opened it. I recognized my drunk ass handwriting. 'Call me.' with my number above it. I bit my tongue, suddenly getting it. I stared at the piece of paper, not daring to face her. "Did we-"
"We made out." She interrupted me. "Nothing more, if that's what you think."
I quickly glanced at her. She was looking in front of her and not at me. I laughed quietly. "Well, that's awkward."
