10 - The whore

Selena's POV

Both miss Lovato and I enjoyed the kiss, until she pulled away and pushed me slightly. Her face looked alarmed, as if she had only just noticed what we were doing.

"Oh my god," She quickly said. "I'm- oh my god." That was all she said before collecting her stuff and running out.

I sat there in shock, staring at where she was sitting a few seconds before. I had kissed my really hot teacher who I still have to face four hours a week for the next year. That was a great kiss though, I thought by myself.

I sighed, suddenly feeling stupid. The second period was nearly over so I didn't see a point in going to class. I drank from the bottle of water miss Lovato gave me before resting my head on the table.

"Well well," Caroline and Isidora walked into the library a few minutes after the second bell. "we knew we'd find you here." Caroline spoke.

"I'm so stupid." I mumbled into my arms, not looking up.

"What did you do now?" Isidora said. I knew she was rolling her eyes without actually seeing her.

"Is it Katherine?" Caroline quickly added.

I grumbled, held my head, and looked up at the two. "I kissed someone I really shouldn't have kissed."

"Do not fucking tell me you got back together with the slut. I told you to not get back together with her, she'll-"

"Not Katherine, Iz." I sighed. I squeezed my eyes shut as I said the next two words. "Miss Lovato."

Both my friends looked at me, not blinking. "Say something."

"You're talking about last summer, right?" Caroline asked.

I shook my head. "I'm talking about twenty minutes ago."

Isidora face palmed so hard, she probably left a red mark. "One, you're a fucking slut, she has a boyfriend! Two, what the fuck how? And three, you're a fucking slut, she has a boyfriend!" She threw her arms in the air as she moved closer to me. Caroline just stared at both of us with raised eyebrows.

"I feel so stupid." I chuckled.

"What did she say? Why did you kiss her?" Caroline calmly asked.

So I told them. I told them how we were talking about cursing, how I told her she'd look hot doing it and how I kissed her after she did it on purpose. I even told them about Katherine and my flashback causing Isidora to clench her fists and speak through gritted teeth. "The whore."

"You gotta apologize to miss Lovato." Caroline said after a while.

I nodded. "I know.. I'll do it tomorrow after class."

My friends and I skipped the next classes and went shopping. Isidora rolled her eyes when Caroline asked us to, but she ended up going with us anyway.

"What about this one?" I showed off the blue top I tried on.

"Beautiful!" Isidora grinned. "Wear that and you'll steal miss Lovato's heart in less than a second!"

I laughed and decided to buy it. "Ah, fuck it." I tried to hold all the bags.

"We went crazy." Caroline laughed. "Just like the old days."

"Hmhm." I agreed, putting the bags in her backseat. "Let's get some food before picking my sister up."

We agreed on getting fast food and decided to eat it in the car. We drove back to school in silence. The sound of us eating was the only thing we could hear.
