Prologue Part Two

Magenta, Cayenne, and Sadie were crowded around Magenta's locker, talking and waving off any boys that tried to talk to Magenta. Sadie and Cayenne were talking about Leon and Drake and Magenta was zoned off. Suddenly, her phone chimed. She looked down.

One text from Card Boy

Magenta had a puzzled look. What could Ace want?

Card Boy: Bring Cayenne and Sadie to the football field ASAP

Ace sent the text and not even two seconds later, his phone chimed.

Blue's Bitch: Is something wrong???

Magenta stood, watching the three dots nervously. 

Card Boy: No, everything's fine. No need to get your panties in a twist. They just have a.... surprise for them.

Ace stood, watching the three dots. Typically, he'd be annoyed with someone asking so many questions. But he wasn't annoyed with Magenta for some reason.

Blue's Bitch: I'll be there in five max.

Magenta stuffed her phone in her pocket. "Guys! There's a big emergency on the football field and Drake and Leon need help!"

Sadie and Cayenne immediately snapped to attention. Without a word, they began running down the hall and toward the football field. Magenta followed, walking. 

"So, Magenta, now that your girls are gone-"

"Beat it." Magenta rolled her eyes.

"Yes ma'am!" The boy behind her ran off and she ran to catch up with her friends.

"WHERE'S DRAKE???" Cayenne yelled. She looked around. 

"Wait a second," Sadie began. "This doesn't seem like an emergency..."

Magenta looked around. There were a ton of guys in a row facing away from them. Magenta pulled out her phone and Ace's phone dinged. 

Blue's Bitch: What's this?

Ace laughed as he text back. Magenta's phone chirped. 

Card Boy: You'll see.

Magenta rolled her eyes. She walked over to the bleachers, where she saw Ace. She sat next to him.

"What's happening?" she asked.

Ace looked at her and smirked. He looked back at the field. "Just pay attention."

Magenta looked at the row of boys. Then, the first one turned around. They held a poster with a big "C" on it. Music started playing and the boys started turning around on beat, one by one, one letter on each poster, until it spelled out a simple sentence: Cayenne and Sadie, will you be the Gabby to our Troy?

Cayenne and Sadie's jaws dropped. Ace chuckled and Magenta gasped. The boys split apart, revealing Leon and Drake. They started walking toward Cayenne and Sadie and the girls ran towards them. Cayenne put her arms around Drake's neck and jumped on him. Sadie bear hugged Leon. Leon broke the hug and Drake made eye contact with Cayenne.

"Sooooo, is that a yes?" Leon asked nervously. 

"Yes!" Cayenne and Sadie yelled at the same time. Cayenne snuggled her face in Drake's neck and Sadie bear hugged Leon again. 

"Okay, that right there, that's some cute shit." Magenta said. 

Ace scoffed. "Tell me about it. The whole time I had to help plan and it was annoyingly cute the whole time."
