This is a big moment for him and this is kind of the reason we moved here to New York for a little while. I'm excited for this big business venture. I'mma be honest though. I'm just ready to eat and make it official.
It was almost 6 PM and all I had on was makeup and my undergarments.
"So whatchu wearing, babe?" Nicki asked.
"I'm wearing that nude outfit hanging in my closet." I pointed.
"Oh, that's cute." Lauren said.
"So you gone tell us where you were Saturday night to the point where we had to lie to your Moms if she called us." Nicki smirked.
I laughed while putting my eyeliner on.
"No, did she call?"
"No." They said.
"Well, it doesn't matter does it." I shrugged.
"Uh yes, it does cause you still got two hickies running down your neck." Lauren said. "And they look old enough to be from Saturday. It's Monday, bitch. Who you been fucking?"
"Nobody."
"So why are you grinning?" She asked.
"I can't smile?"
"No cause that ain't no regular smile. That's a 'I just got some good ass pipe' smile." She said.
We busted out laughing.
"I haven't had sex with anyone. I swear." I mumbled.
"So who was you with?"
"Solange." I said putting makeup on the marks.
"Uh uh, she was at the movies. I didn't see you on her story."
"We went to roller skate earlier that day and I went out with a person that not."
"What person?" Lauren asked.
"A breathing person."
They both smacked their lips.
I went inside my walk-in closet and got dress. I was really feeling my look once I put the outfit on. I felt really adult like, considering I've been treated like I was 12 for the past couple weeks.
My phone vibrated on the shelf. It was a text from Shawn.

I texted back an eye roll emoji followed by a laughing one. Then I walked out the closet to grab my purse and everything I needed for the night.
"Aight babe, see you later." Lauren hugged me, followed by Nicki.
