"Okay, talk to me." Dria interrupted, placing a sleeping Bentley in his stroller. "What happened last night? And don't tell me nothing cause it was something. It was all over your face."
I sighed, locked my phone and placed it face down.
"I don't know, sis." I rubbed my face. "I don't know. I don't wanna say I regret it, but it's definitely not the way I wanted it to happen."
"What is it?"
I closed my eyes trying to think of the right way to tell her.
"So she called me and told me to come over to tell me she was pregnant." I said.
"Was?"
"No, she is. Present tense." I sighed. "She's pregnant,"
"Okay, and? What? She's telling you that for the sake of you seeing Shai or something? What?"
"No, the baby's mine." I told her.
The silence that was between us was almost disturbing.
"Is this a fucking joke, Shawn?" She finally spoke. "Do not fucking play right now."
"I wouldn't play about my child, Dria and you know that."
She began to shake her head.
"So you cheated on Beyoncé?" She asked.
"No, never." I said. "It was just stupid mistake. She called our relationship off and I was being ignorant to the point where I let Lori take me back to her apartment and we just did it. It was not supposed to happen and if I'm being honest, I don't even know if we used fucking protection that night. I just don't remember."
"We're you fucking drunk?"
"No, I was just real fucking mad and I just needed anything and anybody to relieve my stress."

"Like I said, I don't wanna say my child is a mistake cause like everything else, this is all in God's plan, but I ain't mean for her to be having my second child. I wanted to be financially stable and married before I brought another child into this world."
