Chapter 25:
Alex's POV
"Ya that's great Abby!" I said, putting on my best forced smile. She literally would not stop trying to flirt with me! She is nice and all, but nothing like Amber. Amber is different. Her perfectly straight shoulder length hair, flowing around her painfully perfect face.
I hate the fact the only time I can talk to her is in the nurses office every night. It took everything in me not to jump over the table, pull her into my arms, and kiss her till her knees go weak.
But I can't if I want to keep her safe I have to act like I have no interest in her, for the cameras, for my "dad".
" I decided we needed some help around her more often especially if she is gonna start to stick around," Abby snorted. She glared at Amber. Ugh how much I just want to send that little brat Abby to the room we originally held Amber.
"What do you mean Ab.." I started but then biff walked in. What the heck was he doing here?!? I got out of my seat and stormed over to him while everyone was quiet. I took a brief glance at Amber. Her mouth hanging open, her eyes filled with fear.
"Can I help you Biff?!" I asked sternly. He just looked at me. Then Abby came up behind me, and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Allow me to explain," she gave a devilish grin, "daddy says that your not capable of being in charge of so many things, so now I'm I charge of Biff."
What does that mean?! Oh my so called "father" will hear about this!!! But that doesn't explain why Biff is here! She probably brought him to brag, to rub it in.
"And why is he here you ask?" Abby mocked, "why of course silly me I should explain. It's because naughty girl has caused me trouble, so to make sure that nothing happens, he will be here."
"Your a coward," I growled, " I'm going to go talk to my father."

I bursted through the door of my dads office, but of course he knew I was coming.
"Yes Alex?" He asked impatiently. I immediately looked at the floor. He saw it as a sign of respect. I know if I want to butter him up then I would have to give in a lot.
"Dad I'm soo..." Now the fake tears," I'm soo sorry I-i said the th-things I d-did." Then I burst into the fake tears. "I sh-should of listened t-to you. S-she wa-wasn't worth the tr-trouble."
He looked at me with pity then he pulled me into a hug. "Oh son. I knew you would come around. You are forgiven."
I looked up at him. "Thank you dad I won't let you down, I promise!" I kinda feel bad for the guy, he totally fell for it.
"I know you won't son! That's why I'm gonna give you back all your privileges. But you will have to work in the office more. You will have to come in at 5 every morning for work before school, to do files and other things." He looked at me sternly.
Ugh I hate office work. But then I got an idea.
