Chapter 18:
School in this place is worse then school at home! You sit at a stupid computer for 3 hours straight, then get an hour break for drama class. Then stare at a computer till lunch(a whole 2 hours after drama)! If you get up without Alex's permission then you have to either stay after or get lashings also known as correctings.
But the best part of the day is after lunch! I get a whole hour of spiking a volleyball at Abby's head!! Then after that is an hour of weight training which is easy! I can beat both Nettie and Brian!
Today's first two hours were the same. 1st hour I have algebra 2. 2nd hour English. But then during 3rd our I learned that I had Texas history as the next unit. I took deep breaths as I read through the text. But then a list of the states smallest cities popped up. As I realized what I was looking at eyes welled up there was Amherst, Texas. Then it all came.
Like a dam exploding, my emotions left my body. First, I stared to uncontrollably shake. Then, my eyes weld up with tears. There was no coming back. Out of my tear blurred eyes I could see a figure to my left jump out of its chair and rush towards me.
As the figure came closer, I fell out of my chair. Immediately my legs where hugged to my chest, and my head tucked in. Someone put their hand on my shoulder gently shaking me. I could hear Alex's voice in the distance calling my name. The hot tears poured onto my cheeks. Then it went black...

I woke up with no memory of falling asleep. I was in the room they made me stay in laying in my bed. I slowly sat up when someone's hands flew to my shoulders gently pushing me to lie back down. "It's ok Amber. It's ok," Alex soothed,"Lie down you need rest."
I looked at him confused. "Wha what happened." I questioned him.
Why would I need rest I just woke up?
"We were in the classroom and you past out," Alex explained. His eyes searching mine, looking for clearance that I was ok.
I slowly sat up and leaned my back against the head board. I passes out?! Then it hit me life a semi-truck hitting a cow full force. My hand flew to cover my mouth. " Oh my gosh!" I chocked. Tears flooding my eyes once again.
"Shhh it's ok," Alex whispered. Gently pulling my head into his lap, allowing me to lay down. He ran his finger through my hair. It was so relaxing. One of the first times I have ever felt safe in this hell hole. then I fell asleep. Dreaming of my home.
Ok so you guys are amazing!!!! Just a few weeks ago I was soo excited I hit 180 views and now I'm over double that!!!!! I'm sooo happy thank you guys sooo much you are all amazing!!! So this chapter is dedicated to all of you!!! Oh and sorry for being a little late just stared school last week and went to school camp thing so it's been a lil cray cray!
