Chapter 17:
"Hey look who finally decided to come eat a meal with her new family!" Abby rolled her eyes. Brain chuckled, but stopped when Alex elbowed him in the side. Brain only glared at him.
"Maybe this was a mistake," I turned on my heels. When I reached for the door handle the sound of Alex's voice stopped me.
"Wait! Please sit down and enjoy a nice dinner," Alex said with confidence knowing I couldn't turn him down. His face was full of patience. His smile sinning and his eyes sparkling.
I nodded and took a seat. Then all at once the talking continued. Nettie and Amber were talking about the latest fashion designer. Some gay guy in Paris. Brain and Alex were talking about the next madden. How awesome the graphics are and the new plays.
"Do you like video games Amber?"brain asked a hopeful smile lighting up his face.
"Sure I like some!" I smiled back politely. Brain's smile grew bigger if that even was possible.
"Really?! Do you like madden!" Brain bounced in his seat with excitement.
"I used to play.. with my brother actually.." and with that I stood up, placed my napkin on my plate,"I'm sorry!" I cried then ran out of the room . I ran as fast as I could down the hall. A few guards asking me if I was alright. But I never stopped. I ran into my room, threw myself onto my bed and cried.
I heard someone walk into my room. They picked my head up along with my pillow and set it on their lap. "Shh," they soothed, gently rubbing my back. "It's ok, everything is gonna be ok," I looked up to see who it was. It was Alex. A very concerned look on his face. " it's alright baby girl let it out. I silently sobbed into his lap.

"Please Amber just one game!" Nettie pleaded me. Everyday she came by asking me to play volleyball, I always refused.
"No I don't want to!" I screamed at her like a child. Soon she would give up and decide to make herself at home. Plop her self on my bed and read a year old version of seven teen.
"Ugg!" She screamed then did exactly that. "So do you like fashion?" Nettie questioned.
"No no and no! Now get out of my room. I pushed her out of my room. Before she could even protest I slammed the door in her face. Then I started on my daily routine. 100 sit ups, 200 crunches, 50 push ups, and last but not least 100 squat jumps.
Then I watched some HBO Movies. The new Iron Man was on. As it stared I made my self some lunch. Today was crackers and lunch meat! "" Then I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in," I yelled. Alex walked in, his face had a huge grin.
"Guess what Amber! I talked to the boss, and he said that school starts next week!" Alex exclaimed.
"And your happy why?" I am confused who gets excited for school?! I was right he is crazy!
"The start of school means you actually have to come out of this room and see people!" Ok he has lost it!
"Again your happy why?!" I asked
"That means I get to see you more!"
Hey guys!! Happy last day of summer😳(well at least for me) so yep school starts tommorow!
