Hate. It's a four letter word. Two vowels, two consonants and one syllable. It's what i feel right now. The memory of it all felt like it took place just a few hours ago, even though it was.
"I trust that while you're away you'll learn some manners. As well as respect for your parents,"my dad said to me as he struggled with my last suitcase down the spiral staircase.
I snorted at his comment, and rolled my eyes,"like if you care," I said under my breath.
"What was that?"my dad said to me. "Nothing!"I quickly answered,I was walking back up the stairs to my room when my dad,had hit me with the worse thing to do ever. "Please say goodbye to your mother,"my dad shouted from downstairs. "Do I have to?" I groaned."Yes," he shot back almost instantly, I dragged myself across the hall to the door opposite from my bedroom. I mentally prepared myself for this, and I quickly debated in my mind so I'll know the right words to say when I tell"her" goodbye. It's like if she sensed that someone was by the door, because it abruptly flew open by non other than Elizabeth AKA my mom. "Have you come to apologize for you behavior today,"she said to me before I can get a word out. "Actually,no I have just come to say goodbye,"I said.
"Okay then goodbye. I'll miss you ,we're only doing this cause we love you and we want what's best for you,"my mom explained. I rolled my eyes and snorted at her reasoning.
I walked down stairs with my head held high and went to the kitchen,it was then and there when I heard the honking of Kat's car. I ran outside through the front door and waved at my best friend. I looked back at the house and had a slight inch of happiness when I realize that I'm not coming back to that big, empty house again.
The memory faded, a deep, rough voice had came on over the intercom,"Welcome passengers to Italy,Rome." Yes I know I'm 7000 miles away from my home,I bet it was my mother who chose it. Anyway, the good thing out of it was that Kat was coming with me. Speaking of ,where is she? I looked in the passage way and saw her coming out of the bathroom on her phone,"hey!" She said, while continuing to text on her phone. Only one can guess who she is talking to: Aiden, her boyfriend.
A few minutes later:
Kat signaled a cab and it took a few seconds for it to come, she told the driver the address of the boarding school as we proceeded to our destination.
