The loud booming music and sweaty bodies of people dry humping each other wasn't helping the fact that the club was packed. I should of stayed in my dorm room and try to fall asleep again without the interruption of 'Him'.
Worst of all Kat left me to go get some drinks which was might I say an hour ago. "Horny bitch!" I thought.
Being around all these people was getting me annoyed so I pulled out my phone and texted Kat that I was leaving. While texting Kat, I had the distinct feeling of someone watching me. I tried to nonchalantly look over my right shoulder, I was taken aback by a man staring at me with the intensity of a cobra.
He was really tall but muscle-thick, with military short hair, wire rimmed glasses, and dark, penetrating eyes. He wore a cheap rumpled gray suit that fit like it belonged to someone else. He wasn't just glancing at me curiously, as if he somehow knew that I didn't quite belong here. Nor did he casually drop his eyes, as most people do when caught for ogling. Instead, he held my questioning look with a flinty stare both unbashed and unwavering, almost as if he were....calculatedly appraising me. Like a wolf assessing its next meal.
He was silently undressing me with his eyes, looking at me like I was his next meal. He was walking towards me while his next words frightened me the most."Hello Alexandria", he said.
Shock and dread filled my entire body while my mind was racing wondering who the hell was this guy.
"Who the fuck are you!? How do you know me?!", I questioned the skyscraper looking down at me. "It was Kat who told me to do it, I swear!", my hands raised in surrender as I nervously scoped out the area to see if she was near by.
Just as I was about to explode in complete fear I saw Kat at the entrance of the club where we came in earlier. I suddenly looked to the floor to think of a distraction when it hit me.
"Your shoes laces are untied", I firmly advised him. And just as he looked to where my eyes led him I made a quick break for it. Haha! He fell for the oldest trick in the book. Bitch!
I dashed my way to where Kat was and simultaneously grabbed her arm and pulled her with me to God knows where. Aiden quickly followed behind.
"They're after me!", I finally spoke while gasping for air. I think it was fair to say that I ran quite a far distance in a short amount of seconds with occasional yelling from behind me as Kat kept questioning 'Where are we going?!', 'You're crazy!', 'Bitch answer me!'. And yet still didn't even take the time to look back or care as to where my legs were carrying me. I guess I wasn't so curious as to how he knew me.
"What the hell are you talking about?!", exclaimed Kat. "Remember the note I got in front of our door? Telling me to get out? Well I think they're after me now, some dude was like, dead-ass staring me in the eye in the club which might I say was very creepy but then suddenly he approached me and was like 'Hello Alexandria'. How the hell does he know me Kat! I'm beginning to get scared."
"What!?", said an astonished Kat.
"I'm going home... This place is really starting to freak me out, at least if they come back there the people in the other dorms will hear my screams of terror and come save me", I said in order to lighten the mood a little, even though all of us were still straight-faced, clearly not taking this for a joke.
Kat began to whisper something in Aiden's ear quietly so I wouldn't hear, which I found extremely annoying. She always seemed to do that a lot with him, as if there is something I shouldn't know about. I hate being excluded. But I somewhat ignored it anyway; I got used to it. She then nodded in conclusion as she was probably confirming whatever they agreed on.
I love Kat, you know, but I seriously don't like it when I feel like if she's keeping stuff from me. And usually when she does stuff like that she acts all weird-like and nervous. It's sad really. But after, like a day or two she seems to return to normal like if nothing ever happened and she wasn't just upset or being mysterious just a couple days ago; like if she solved or demolished whatever thing that was bothering her. Strange.
"Alright babe, go home, get some rest. Aiden and I actually had something we wanted to do tonight. I'll be home soon, I promise." And with that she left. Both with a look of sympathy and soon after followed with a look of determination... And maybe even, rage?
