Chapter 8

Holy fudgeballs and biscuits! I was completely immobilized, all I could do was stare straight into those soul capturing eyes as they bore into me. Finally by some courage and my conscience screaming at me 'You pussy! Talk to him, he's just a.... just a.... TOTALLY SMOKING I WANNA HUMP HIS LEG OFF GREEK GOD, but you could so handle that.' As on cue we both started at the same time 'I-', "ladies first", he then commented. His voice was like fine silk, I just wanted him to wrap me in his embrace and hold me forever as if I was that little girl who got scared of thunderstorms and needed to be kept safe.

"Uh....", seriously! What is it with this guy and me not being able to find words when he's around?! He chuckled in amusement, obviously enjoying the fact that I couldn't even utter one word properly since our encounter. "It's alright, no big deal", he genuinely smiled at me, "After all.... I just happen to be the guy that this beautiful creature accidentally bumped into", he smirked handsomely at me. If I wasn't already pink, I was sure as hell full on fire truck red right now, his charm obviously affecting me.

Quickly getting some composure I replied: "Mmm I bet all the girls fall to their knees with that one". "All except you apparently, else you would be at my mercy, now wouldn't you?", he leaned in to whisper privately in my ear. Eh hem! Note to self: put blow dryer in pants when encountering greek gods with grey eyes and killer charm. "It would appear so", I said expression less. "Yes.... It would", he answered smiling ear to ear. God! That smile...."Well.... I've taken up enough of your time, till we meet again amore", and with that he drifted away from sight through the double doors.

After our encounter I pretty much went through the day smiling like I was high on marijuana, even Renele noticed my change of attitude. "Well someone's feeling better", she grabbed a chair and dragged it next to me to sit. I immediately snapped out of my daydream and was pulled back to reality forcefully by my ankle. "Mmm yea something like that". "Something like that? You look like Spongebob when he finally got promoted to be manager." I laughed out at her retarded comparison.... and of all things, Spongebob. I quickly began to feel comfortable around her. "That bad huh?", she giggled "yea, so what's or who's making you light up like a fluorescent bulb?", she excitedly bounced up and down in her seat waiting for the deets, I know I just met Ele today and all but trust me she's one of the nicest people I have ever come across in my life; a true friend in the making, which is why I decided to tell her about my little bump in action with Mr. 'Grey and Mysterious'.

"Mmmm...", was all she could muster and she didn't look too happy when she said it either. "Mmmm? That's it? What's wrong?", she quickly replied "uhhh.... its not my place", "not your place? What are you talking about?". "Just.... be careful is all" she answered, but not the response I wanted to hear. "What's wrong with him?!", was all I could have yelled out in time as she was already out the door. Dafaq! Was all that my brain could have comprehended. I don't know why she avoided my question, but I was gonna find out with or without her help.
