Chapter Thirty Eight

Anu: Stop it Yuvi... Wo dono husband wife hai. They have the right to decide their future and unke beech hame nahi ghusna chahiye.

Yuvi: Are you crazy? Pichle 5years se Bela ghut ghutke jee rahi thi... Uska ek hi hope tha Dhruv jo aaj duniya me nahi hai. Tumhe pata hai Bela ka kya haal hua tha?

Anu: Aur tumhe pata hai Mahir ka kya haal hua tha? (Anu tells Yuvi everything) Agar Bela yaha ro rahi thi toh Mahir bhi waha khush nahi tha... Yaha toh  Dhruv ko tum ek baap ka pyar de rahe the lekin waha Mahir Mahira ko kisiko bhi Maa kehne nahi diya kyunki uski Maa sirf Bela hai.

Yuvi: Ye... Ye... Ye kya bol rahi ho?

Anu: Mai Bela ki sagi behen hu... Aur wo Misha... Usne ham sab ki zindagi yu barbaad kar di hai... Maine khud Bela se request ki thi ki wo jaake Mahir se baat kare toh wo Mahir se baat karne gayi hai. I am happy ki at least unn dono ko ek dusre ka dard baatne ka mauka mila.

Yuvi: Agar sach yahi hai toh mujhe sabko batana chahiye.

Anu: Haa Yuvi... Lets go and tell them.

Anu and Yuvi gather everyone in Sumitra's room and tell them what happened. Sumitra feels very bad for not trusting her son and everyone feel guilt for all the words they spoke against Mahir.

Anu: Jiju dil ke bahut acche hai... Aur iss baat ko aap sab se zyada koi jaante hi nahi!

Sumitra: Jo hua so hua. Kam se kam ab sab kuch thik ho jani chahiye.

Bela wakes up and finds herself sleeping in a different room. She then looks at the person she is hugging which makes her realise the reality. Bela looks at their position and immediately sits. Mahir, who was awake from before, too wakes up. He gives his shirt to Bela and Bela wears it and collects her clothes.

Bela gets dressed in washroom and comes out to see a smiling Mahir. She sits on the bed, tensed and is hesitating to speak. So, Mahir sits beside her.

Bela: Mahir... I want to say something...

Mahir: Of course Bela... You have all the rights to...

Bela: I... I need some time. I mean ye jo bhi hua isme tum begunah ho lekin tumhare wajah se ham dono ne bahut kuch khoya hai... I need time to digest all these and accept the facts... I need time to forgive you.

Mahir cups Bela's face in both of his hands and makes her look at him.

Mahir: Mai jo kiya... Uska mujhe maafi ki umeed bhi nahi thi lekin kal tumne mujhe pyar diya... You showered all the love on me... Mujhe isse zyada aur kya chahiye. Kal ki rat mujhe hamare ane wale kal ke lie ek umeed di hai jiske sahare mai tumhare lie poori zindagi intezar kar sakta hu. Na iss ghar me koi kuch kahega na mai kisiko tumhe kuch kehne dunga. Jab tak tumhare dil poori tarah se mujhe maaf nahi karta, tab tak tumhe hamare rishte ko mauka dene ki zarurat nahi hai. Ok?

Bela: Thank you...

Mahir kisses Bela's forehead and hugs her. Bela too hugs him back and then she leaves his room. She goes to her room but doesn't find Mahira so she goes to Anu's room and relaxes seeing both of them playing.

Bela: Anu...

Anu: Haa di...

Bela: I am sorry...

Anu: Kis lie di? Aapko mujhe sorry kehne ki koi zarurat nahi hai kyunki aap meri di nahi Maa ho. Ek Maa ko apne bacchon ko daatne ki aur unhe kuch bhi kehne ki poora haq hota hai.

Bela hugs Anu and starts crying. Anu too becomes emotional. They both cry out all their pain and then Bela kisses Anu's forehead making Anu extremely happy. Mahira sees Anu and Bela so emotional but doesn't understand the reason.

Mahira: Angel... Angel... Aap kyu ro rahe ho?

Bela sits on her knees to reach the height of Mahira.

Bela: Aap mujhe angel myu bulate ho?

Mahira: Kyunki Papa ne kaha aap angel ho.

Bela: Lekin angel toh aap hai... Pata hai mai kaun hu?

Mahira nodes in no.

Bela: Aapki mamma...

Mahira looks at Anu who nodes in yes.

Mahira: Aap meri mamma ho?

Bela: Haa bilkul. Dekho kaise aapki naak aur aapka ye lips mere jaise hai...

Mahira: Toh islie papa kehte hai ki mai angel ki tarah dikhta hu!

Bela: Haan... Kya aap mujhe mamma bulayengi?

Mahira: Ok Mamma... I Love You!

She hugs Bela making Bela smile to the extreme. Both mother daughter go to Bela's room where Bela makes Mahira bath and then they have fun together. Bela too gets ready and they both go downstairs for breakfast.
