AnnushkaBeing nice to Perseus and the other people at the school is about as hard as throwing a knife at a moving target 100 miles away with a blindfold on, and no knife. Yes, I know that makes me sound like I'm not a very nice person but if you want me to be more honest, then I might as well be. Yet, somehow, I have managed to get him to be my friend and get in a routine of talking after our incident of a study disaster that I refuse to talk about.
I can tell that the girl he is dating, Rachel, is taking note of how close the two of us are becoming. It has been two months since I arrived at the school, and in America, and I am starting to get used to it. My routine is get up, go to school, and meet Perseus at the front gate when he would decide to show up. Sometimes Rachel would be there, and it would be a slow morning, or it would just be me and Perseus. Which is the option I prefer.
After I have my morning chat with Perseus, we walk to class, and as he jokes around in the classes we have together, (which happens to be all of our morning ones,) I'm helping him find out what the answers are by telling him in Ancient Greek, which is a language I didn't think he could speak.
With the help of my 'tutoring,' he seems to be excelling more in the classes we have together. I can feel that we have a bond growing, and I know that soon enough, I will be able to turn him into the Red Room, but I have to do one thing first, and that is seduce him enough into getting him to kiss me. Then I can do anything at all.
After classes is lunch where he sits with his friends, and I fill Bronya and Alena in on what is happening in Russian while Peter sits next to Alena talking with Ned, and they share their progress. Throughout the afternoon the only contact I have with Percy is when I follow him the gym he goes to, but instead go to the Red Room studio, and dance. Then go home and be tortured til I sleep. Then repeat it all over again.
"So Percy, I heard that Lenaya is throwing this big party tonight, and I am wondering if you would be there?" I ask him with a sly smirk on my face. Showing any signs of enjoyment towards this is something I hate.
"Yeah I am. I was wondering if you would like to be my plus one. Y'know. As friends. Since Rachel doesn't really like parties, I was thinking you would go. Well, not thinking, kinda hoping," Percy admits looking down.
"Well, I am glad I had decided on going earlier then," I tell him. The hallway is empty around us, and I distantly hear the final bell ring after I stop with him as he stares into my eyes. His sea green ones bear into my soul, and I feel very vulnerable as he whispers, "I feel as though a spell has me just wanting to talk to you all the time, and I can't help but feel as thought you're my best friend. And, are probably a better friend than Rachel is. She's seemed so distant lately, and I've finally decided that I know why," Perseus pauses, and I can't believe that after a month I am getting this confession out of him. He has a girlfriend too, which is hilarious, and I wrap him around my finger.
"Whatever would be the reason? I thought you two were the closest of couples here," I mock a confused look on my face. He seems to buy it as the hallway fills with teenagers when I hear Perseus say, "I'm going to break up with her. She's been so distant that I've come to realize that she isn't the one for me. But I need your help with this..."

The party is full of teenagers, and I can barely even see where Alena is. I have long since lost Bronya, and don't really mind that she is missing since I'm not the one who's supposed to be looking for her. I'm sitting beside Perseus waiting for him to get the courage to make the call.
"At the moment, you are still stuck in a relationship that is keeping you from actually having fun at this party. Just call her, and break up with her. And since we are at a Lenaya party, you can just drink away your sorrows if you regret it," I explain to Perseus. He sighs.
"I guess you're right, but I can't. I don't want to say it," the Seaweed Brain admits. I roll my eyes, and ask him a question.
"Do you want to date her?"
He shakes his head no.
"Do you like her as more than a friend?"
He shakes his head no again.
"Have you ever broken up with someone?"
He shakes his head no.
I sigh, and he does too.
I wait in silence, and I finally hear him calling her, which is very strange since the party is very loud. "Hey Rachel?" I am about to start dancing for joy, when I see Bronya walking outside. Lenaya is with her. I don't want to intrude on what is happening, but before I can think of doing so, Perseus runs up behind me, and hugs me. Our hug breaks when his phone buzzes. It's a snap from Rachel.
"Oh so now she will talk to you. Earlier this week and today she would not even say a word to you? I wonder what the occasion was," I point out bitterly.
"I'm scared to open it though. I have a feeling she's gonna scream at me."
"Probably."
"You're not helping."
"I am not trying to help."
"Wow some friend you are." I roll my eyes at that in Annabeth's bickery way, but inside I just want this entire thing over before anyone can catch on to me.
"Just open it!"
"Not if you continue to insist."
"You are acting like a child."
"Who says I'm not a child?"
"Most definitely the people who would beg to differ, that might happen to be one of your many admirers."
"Oh so you do care about my popularity."
"More than you think."
It's quiet for a moment between us until Perseus puts his phone away.
"Thank you for helping me do this. I know I've sort of been a handful recently, but I just can't not be since I'm all over the place with my feelings. But now they're clear. I know I've only know you for like a month now, but maybe we can possibly be something more than frien-," I cut him off when he's talking by smashing my lips on his. I don't want to kiss him but for the sake of the mission I do.
Now I don't want to admit it is my first kiss so I won't, but I kissed Perseus Jackson, and I liked it.

So when I wake up the next morning, It's at the apartment of hell. I am at the spot that I never though I would be again. On a plane. Then my memory comes back. I had turned Perseus in after I kissed him, and then I went back to the apartment and told them my report. They told me to pack, and I left two notes for Alena and Bronya in places where the demons won't find them, but Alena and Bronya will. But now I wish I had time to properly say, good-bye.
A//N: So it's currently Christmas Eve and even though it is 1:30 in the morning, it still counts so MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE I HOPE YOU GET WHAT YOU WISH FOR THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!! Ok bye now!
