Bronya

Annushka and I walk into the poor part of Queens, and make sure that we aren't being followed. If we are, it won't really be a problem because of how heavily armed we are, but I guess you never know when you can get mugged.

Annushka and I wander up to the front of the building that Peter Parker lives in, and we climb up the fire escape on the alley side of the building and make our way to the roof. There we remain for two minutes, 'waiting' for any sign of life from the Parker's apartment. We know that there is not going to be anything, but we still check to make sure that the Red Room doesn't realize that we aren't really looking, and that we know something they don't.

After about five minutes of waiting, we go inside, and knock out Peter's aunt. We leave a note saying that Peter will be home the tomorrow, and that he went out with friends. We have to make the Red Room think that we cut off all loose ends. They will most likely come and interrogate her tomorrow.

After the thing that happened at the Parker residence, we go to the place that we need to go. The DIA. We sort of run there so the Red Room will think that we found a big lead at the apartment, and upon our arrival on Bleecker street, we see a car with tinted windows, that is awfully familiar. I recognize it as Calvin's car. It is hard to see who is in the driver's seat, but I soon realize that it's Alena driving, and Peter in the passenger seat making their grand escape. I press my earpice as I run after the car that is very much going over the speed limit. "We have located Alena, and the Parker boy. I am in pursuit. Annushka is still en route to the DIA. From there she can scout ahead with the help of Jackson, and we can stay ahead of them." I report in Russian through my earpice and then end the connection not waiting for an answer.

I race after the car not really caring if they see me or not. The car speeds up. I pick up my pace and soon realize I can't run alongside a car that's going that fast. I try to figure out how I can throw a tracker on the car and still get a vehicle to ride in. Why does Calvin have to have a stupid Lambourgini? I try to catch up to the car, and when I start to lose distance, I grab the tracking device, and my soviet slug. I put the launcher mode on it, and slide the tracker into the gun. I stop to take my aim, and fire. It hits my target right on the bottom of the car. I put the slug back on my back, and run when I hear police sirens.

I press on my com, "I placed a tracker on the get away car. I need a vehicle. I am on the corner of Madison square, and Bexton street heading back towards Bleecker. The cops have been called on me," I inform the other line which I'm pretty sure Tasha or Tiana have.

"The car will meet you on the corner of Bexton and Bleecker. Turning now. Black Ferarri. See it?" I hear Tasha ask. I watch as the driver, or Tiana, gets out of the car after stopping next to a parking spot, I fly into the car and throw my slug into the backseat. Then I slam on the gas pedal, and fly into an intersection during a red light. I hear sirens behind me. I press down harder on the pedal. I realize that I'm going about 60 in a 30. Apparently I'm not going fast enough. I weave my way through traffic, and somehow I find myself stuck at a light. I swerve into the other lane that has no people driving in it since every light in Queens is most likely red.

I swerve into the lane that I was previously in, and call for the car assistant that I vaguely remember from another mission. "Alyona, can you pull up the tracker I set about two minutes ago?" I ask the A.I. in Russian.

"Just a moment Miss Semenov," The A.I. responds in Russian. I smile to myself for figuring it out, as I dodge through traffic. I finally reach the speed of 87 mph, before Alonya pulls up a hologram projecting from the cup holder. I move the map taking my eyes of the road for a moment so I can zoom out a bit. I am only a bit behind Parker and Alena. The cops are still on my trail but when I can get out of the city, I should be able to lose them fairly easily on the highway.

"Thank you Alonya. Give me directions to their location, and find a way to get out of the city, and away from the police as soon as possible," I order the A.I.

"On it." I wait for a few seconds and as I come upon an intersection reaching 90 mph, Alonya tells me, "turn right."

"When?"

"Now."

I swerve on two wheels to make the turn, and continue the climb of speed. I can see the exit out of the city now. So close!

"Turn left." I question her thinking before I hear sirens again. I turn on the music and hear a nice classical piece by Hayden. He's my favorite musician.

I swerve around a bunch of cars and make my way down the street. I see a bunch of traffic blocking the entire road, but I make my way around it, or over it. I steer the car up a truck that has it's ramp thingy down, and soar above the rest of the cars. I feel myself fly out of my seat, before I touch back down on the ground swerving a bit. I breathe in and out trying to ignore the pain in my booty, as I go down a few more roads, and reach the edge of the city. I don't slow down. but I don't accelerate either. I keep the pace a 100 mph, and fly past a few confused and angry drivers, but I keep going. I hear Alonya tell me something, but all I'm focused on is the car that's a few cars ahead of me. I smile to myself, and tell the A.I. "Call Tasha."

I hear the music turn off, and Tasha's voice in place of it. "What?"

"I am calling you to tell you that I have found the getaway car, and am following it closely. If you track me, we can get a few more vehicles to follow them, and since they are obviously going to visit someone, we can get backup to put an end to both them, and the person they are visiting," I report.

"We already have sent backup, and they should be nearing your location soon. You can not contact any of the Elite for the next few hours. Annushka has been captured by the DIA and we are going to fight them until they are all are gone. No loose ends," Tasha informs me.

"Then I will call you when I join in the battle after the target is eliminated," I tell her and end the connection with a swipe of my hand over the hologram.

The music turns back on, and the engine hums. I look at how much gas I have left in the gar, and notice I have about 9/10ths of a tank left. It's like this car was made to go fast and still take out the same amount of gas as it would if it had been going at a 'reasonable' pace.

After another hour of thinking to myself about everything that could happen with Alena and Peter, we enter a town. I look at the map and find out that it's near upstate. Wait. UPSTATE! If they are traveling upstate, that means that they're going to the Avengers facility. And if they're going to the Avengers facility that means that.... oh no. There is no way that the Red Room would be able to fight off the Avengers and a bunch of DIA agents. I press on my com.

"Annushka are you there?" I ask panicking.

I hear the static go silent, and hear Annushka reply a very tired, "yes."

"I have found out that Alena and Peter are going to inform the Avengers of the attack, and get their help. We can not be expected to fight the DIA agents, and the Avengers at the same time. So I will try and eliminate them while they are still in no contact with them, but I can not guarantee it. Preserve your energy. You will need it desperately." Then I let the line go static.
