XX - A Battle Begins and Secrets Unveil

I fire the slug at the gate's lock when it doesn't let me in. It still doesn't open. In fact it did the very opposite. It locks the entire premises, and I can't get in. Yay.

I wait outside the gates for them to return since I can't get in, when I get a call from Annushka.

"Bronya. Forget Alena. Get back here now. We have a bigger problem to deal with besides the Avengers." Annushka's sharp Russian tingles my ears as clashes of swords and explosions went off. I jump in the car, and fire the Soviet slug one more time over the fence on explosion mode. Then I jump in the car and drive as fast as I can to Queens.

By the time I reach 174B Bleecker St, there is an entire fleet of cars blocking the street. I already jump out of the car before it stops. I run into the building grabbing my slug.

All I see is complete chaos. There are men and women in Greek togas battling the Elite and destroying them without mercy. That spikes my anger. I fire my slug at a woman with a headband that has an H on it. She looks a bit like me, but more like Tasha. The slug hits her in the stomach, and keeps going straight through. She touches her stomach, and sees no damage, then goes back to fighting. Well not fighting. More like destroying.

I check to see if my slug is working properly. I give up after a few seconds, and look around to find any weapons. I find a bow with a rose design on it. I pick it up, and find a quiver full of bronzish gold arrows. I fling it over my back next to my slug, and try to find a place where I can overlook the battle, and still be able to get down, and run.

Found it. I race across the battle field with my knives in hand. I stab every DIA agent in sight as I make my way across the battle field. I reach the middle of the room, and climb up the statue of a half man half horse creature with ease. I stand on the back, and fire a harpoon at the ceiling halfway to the archers nest. I hook the end of the line to my belt, and jump while I take the slug off my back, and shoot down three agents with one shot. I reach the wall, and put the slug on my back after cutting the line with one of my knives.

I find the hidden brick, and press on it. The footholds come into view, and I scale as fast as I can up the ledge to the archers nest. I feel a fresh cut in my right arm as I jump over the edge of the nest, and press the button on the wall. I look at my arm to see an arrow stuck in the wall below me. I search in the direction it came in, and knock an arrow towards the person also aiming at me. I fire at them, and they fire a few seconds later. I duck under the covering of the nest. The arrow lodges itself into the wall, and I look to see my handiwork. The agent falls after taking an arrow to the heart. I leave my face expressionless. I scan the battlefield for any threats.

I find Tasha taking on bunches of agents. I fire at one that's a few feet behind her. It hits the agent right in the chest, and he falls over. I keep that up for a few minutes. I hear footsteps on the ground right below me, and I fire at the agent right below me. It hits them in the head, and they fall over. I go back to my routine. I take out about half of the agents, before I run out of arrows. Back to the field I guess.

I fire my harpoon at the ceiling again, and after it reaches the ceiling, I wrap the line around my waist, and jump out of the archers nest ditching the bow. I make my way to the ground, and get out my hand knives. I cut my line, and use it to tie it around an agents neck. I pull it tight before I stab another in the stomach. I fight lots of more agents, and kill all of them with ease, and grace. The blood surrounding me, and covering me, brings a look of disgust to my face. Then I make my way back into the battle, killing every agent in sight without thinking of all the deaths I am causing.
