Cinderwing's Past Chapter 14

This might be the last update for a while, because I'm stuck on chapter 15. Also, the epilogue won't be posted until after the first chapter of Jaystorm's Journey is posted. There's only four more chapters after this one. Please let me know what you think of the story. Enjoy the chapter!

"Where are we going?" Eagle mewled.

"Our new home," Cinderwing told the kit. She turned to Honeyfur. "How much farther?" she asked.

"We're almost there," Honeyfur replied. She padded into a clump of bushes. Cinderwing followed her.

Cinderwing stopped and looked around. "Is this it?" she asked.

Honeyfur nodded. "It is," she mewed. "What do you think?"

"It's perfect," Cinderwing meowed. There was a pool of water across from where they were standing. On one side of that, there was a small cave, on the other there was a fallen tree. Next to the cave there was a huge bush. There was another, smaller cave next to that with a ledge sticking out from it. There was another huge bush next to the fallen tree.

Cinderwing turned to the others. "What do you think?"

"It looks awsome," Snowfeather said, sitting down."Now we need to find a place to share tounges with StarClan," Jadecloud mewed.

Cinderwing nodded. "Let's look around and figure out where the dens should be," she mewed, paddign towards the cave with the ledge. She looked inside, then turned around and mewed, "This could be my den. It's big enough and there's a place for me to talk to the Clan."

Jadecloud was investigating the other cave. "This could be the medicine den," she said. "There's places to store my herbs in it, and there's water nearby."

"The bushes could be the nursery and the warriors' den, respectively," Jaystorm suggested. "And the fallen tree could be the elders den, when we have elders."

"Ok," Cinderwing said. "The bush between my den and the medicine den should be the nursery."

"Where should the border be?" Stormheart asked.

"The river can be the border with DarkClan," Cinderwing mewed. "We'll figure out the rest soon enough."

"I'm hungry," Eagle mewled.

"I could show you where to hunt," Honeyfur offered.

Cinderwing nodded. "Take Liylsong and Stormheart with you," she mewed.

Honeyfur, Liylsong, and Stormheart padded out of the camp.

Cinderwing noticed a bush between the fallen tree and the pool of water. She padded over to the bush. "This could be the apprentices' den," she mewed.

Jaystorm padded over. "Good idea," he said.

Jadecloud padded over. "This is a good idea for a camp, but we can't stay here is there isn't a place to share tounges with StarClan," she mewed.

Cinderwing nodded. "We'll start looking in the morning," she meowed.
