(Chuuya's POV)

Chuuya stayed with Dazai until the sedation kicked in. He watched as the teen slowly fell asleep his chest rising gently with each breath he took.

The truth was Chuuya panicked the moment he had gone into the room. The first thing he saw was Dazai basically convulsing on the floor with blood dripping from his mouth. He had honestly believed that the idiot had tried killing himself again.

He remembered dropping the plate of food that he had brought up with a crash and then running over to Dazai.

He turned Dazai over to lay on his back and noticed that he was clutching his chest while muttering "not now", "it hurts" and more assortments of words that Chuuya was unable to comprehend. It was odd to see him so... exposed.

The Dazai that he knew never showed weakness of any sort so the pain must've been pretty bad. He immediately called Mina upstairs to help and luckily she didn't hesitate to get her medical equipment and examine him. A lot of the Sheep members had suspicions about Dazai and if he could really be trusted. Chuuya couldn't really blame them though because he is... no was apart of the most fearsome gang in all of Yokohama. He didn't get a chance to really talk to them all about letting them stay but he did mention it with quite negative responses... If only they could understand how much Chuuya owes that suicidal freak. He really hates being in debt so he has to at least try to pay the asshole back, right?

Chuuya's mind is burned with the memory of the warehouse. Dazai saved his life... and he paid with it quite horribly. He felt pretty bad for knocking Dazai out but he thought that it'd save him from becoming a traitor, apparently he was more naive then he thought. That bastard knew that Mori would puzzle everything together, and yet he was still dumb enough to help. Hell he probably thought that Mori might kill him and that he'd finally be able to go into deaths arms.

Chuuya got lost in thought as he tried with no luck to completely understand Dazai's motives. He was able to piece some things together but he never got the full picture

"I doubt anyone's able to understand that walking waste of bandages" Chuuya sighed. Right now he was sitting at the edge of Mina's bed waiting for her to come into the room. She had kicked him out of the room Dazai was in (which also happened to be Chuuya's bedroom) after they had gotten him back into Chuuya's bed. She said that she wanted to examine him alone quickly and that she'd talk to him after she was done. Mina was one of the most useful sheep members that they had. Her ability allows her to mend broken bones but there's also a catch. They have to be completely broken not fractured so if your unfortunate enough to get a fracture then Mina will most gladly help your bone break the rest of the way. Chuuya shivered just thinking of how many times Mina had to re-break a bone for himself and others.

Suddenly the door opened and in stepped a very tired looking Mina. Chuuya watched as she sighed and then leaned against a nearby wall.

"He'll be alright. His ribs are just cracked and bruised. I'm hoping that they'll fully heal this time considering the first time he broke them they didn't." Mina breathed looking thoughtfully towards Chuuya.

"That's so messed up. Didn't his parents realize that his ribs were fucked?" Chuuya asked angrily.

Mina hesitated before slowly replying. "I actually wanted to talk to you about that... Dazai didn't break his ribs from falling down the stairs."

"Huh? What do you mean and how do you know that??"

"Well the first red flag is that they didn't heal properly and like you said his parents should have realized that they were broken. The second thing I noticed is that when he was unconscious he started mumbling stuff that sounded as if it had triggered a flashback, if it was just a case of him falling down the stairs then it shouldn't have been very traumatic right? And lastly the reason I asked you to leave the room is because I wanted to see if my hunch was correct... Which it was. Dazai has very old scars and injuries all over his body, for example he has a small scar just beside his eye that's usually covered by his bandages or hair."
