When we get back to my house my moms are outside sunbathing on the porch.
"Welcome back sweetheart, did you get anything cool at the mall?" One of them asks.
"No, I didn't see anything I liked." I reply.
"Well, that's okay." She says. I tell them I came back for a snack but that I'm going to leave again after that. When I walk inside I get a snack from my dad in the kitchen and then I walk back to the door, I stand just out of view and listen to Sam and my moms talking.
"I was here last night, I want to know what you're putting in your water, it burned me." They say, one of my mom's gasps, and the other one answers.
"Don't tell anyone, especially not Dylan." She says.
"Why, why are you lying to her? She doesn't deserve that." Sam asks, I hear the anger in their voice.
"Shh, please, she can't know, she can't touch large bodies of water. We tried to bath her as a baby and when we pulled her out her legs were cut up, if she touches bodies of water she'll disappear and wherever she goes is too dangerous. She can never know." One of my moms says.
"We're doing this for her safety, there's a reason we put time limits on her water use. She's safer this way." My other mom says.
"You-" Sam starts angrily, I open the door and cut them off.
"Ready to go?" I ask Sam grabbing their hand, I squeeze it when they open their mouth again.
"Okay, yeah. Let's go." They say, with that, we walk away again.
We walk for a while and I tell Sam about the gender swap world and how I got there. After that we talk about other things, we talk about everything, and we talk and talk until the sun goes down. When we're done talking Sam says we should go home.
"Are you sure? You could stay with me another night." I tell them.
"The longer I'm gone the worse it will get. I should just go home." They say. I wish they didn't have to leave.
"Well, you can come to my house whenever you need to, I promise my window will always be unlocked for you." I reply.
"Thanks." They hug me and then we go our separate ways.
When I get home my moms are waiting for me. I have dinner with my parents and then I go to my room, I already miss Sam. I decide to go on my computer for a while and see what everyone's up to.
LukeTheDunce: hey, Sam, are you free this weekend?
SamMiles: why do you want to know?
LukeTheDunce: because I need some help with some homework.
BoyToyTroy: yo, why you got HW durin sumer?
Ashley404: Grammar Troy. Also, I could help! I'm good at history or essays or math.
LukeTheDunce: I'm in summer school and Ashley I need science help, I know you're bad at science so don't even pretend.
SamMiles: I'll come to help you with your science, I'm not staying long though, my dad doesn't like me being gone very long and I was already gone a whole day with Dylan.
LukeTheDunce: Thanks dude, you can come over tomorrow.
Ashley404: I could be good at math if I wanted to be! It was just sooooooo boring!
I decide I actually don't feel like dealing with their bickering right now, I turn off my computer and decide to just go to bed instead.
