What the fuck is happening?
I hear someone calling for someone named Phoenix, then someone runs past me. I hide behind the tree next to me so I'm not spotted and watch as the person runs into another person and hugs him. I walk away from the tree I'm behind, in the opposite direction of the path that guy just ran through.
As I walk away I start asking myself what I'm doing here, how I got here, what's happening, and stuff like that. There's still yelling happening in the woods around me. Suddenly, another boy runs into me.
"Hey, girl, have you seen a boy with red hair run by here?" He asks.
"Uh, yeah, a bit over there, he ran into some other guy." I tell him, pointing in the direction I just came from. He looks in the direction I pointed and taps the side of his face. I watch in awe as he changes from a boy around my age into a stereotypical hunter, minus the hunting gear. He walks away and I'm left wondering what just happened.
"What in the world is going on?" I ask myself, not expecting an answer.
"You don't belong here." A voice says behind me. I turn around and see the girl who pulled me into the water standing there.
"Where am I? Who are you? What's happening here?" I ask.
"What's happening doesn't concern you, this is not your story. You don't belong here." She says. "Go jump in a puddle, go home." She continues. I walk away from her and go further into the woods, further and further, until I found a small pond between the trees and dived into it. When I open my eyes again, I'm standing on the damp sand at the beach with my friends running towards me.
"What the fuck, how the hell did you get off the rock?" Sam asks, I honestly don't know what to tell them, or my other friends for that matter.
"I, I, I," I watch as a surfboard carefully slides onto the shore with the waves. "I grabbed the surfboard and rode it close to shore, when I got close enough I jumped off." I finish.
"Holy shit dude, never do that again!" Luke scolds me. Everyone hugs me and then they walk me home.
"Guys, I know what happened was super bad, but here's the thing, I won't do it again so you don't need to tell my parents okay? Please, if they find out what happened I'll never be able to leave the house again." I plead with them, and they all agree not to talk about it and I go inside. I walk to my room and decide to sleep it off, I'm far too tired and confused to write anymore. I can't tell anyone about this experience, nobody would ever believe me.
