I wake up and go back to my computer, I know Luke and Sam are busy today, and I know I could be working on my powers more, but why not take a break from the crazy shit that's happening for a while and hang out with someone instead? Okay, I did want to work on my powers today but Ashley is messaging me.
Ashley404: Dylan! We should hang out, do a girl's day or something! Come on, we can buy dresses and give each other makeovers and paint our nails!
ChillinDylan: Alright, alright, I'll come meet you at your place. We can go to the mall and hang out, I kinda don't want to burn my face off trying to get makeup off though.
Ashley404: Oh! Right, sorry.
ChillinDylan: it's fine, I know you just want someone to talk to though.
Ashley404: Ugh, you're right. Whatever, I'll see you when you get here.
I turn off my computer then grab my phone and leave, when I get to Ashley's house she's sitting on the front steps.
"Hey, still wanna go to the mall?" I ask, she looks up at me with a sad look.
"Sure." She sighs.
"You wanted to hang out with someone else today didn't you?" I ask, already knowing the answer.
"God damn it! I wanted to be with Luke! He's always got other things to do and other people to hang out with though! It's like he's trying to avoid me! Why doesn't he get it, I like him and I want to be around him and he always wants to be somewhere else, I wish I could just make him see me." She tells me.
"Sometimes, things don't go the way you planned." I tell her.
"I know, I just wish Luke would care for once in his life." She says.
"Maybe you should just tell him how you feel." I tell her.
"Would you ever tell Sam how you feel about them?" She asks. I can feel my cheeks heating up.
"That's different, I see Sam all the time, and that's not even what I meant! What I meant was-" I'm cut off when my phone starts ringing, it's Sam. I answer it.
"Sam, hello, Sam?" All I hear is breathing on the other side, then Luke says he accidentally pressed the call button and he hangs up.
"What was that?" Ashley asks.
"Nothing, apparently Luke accidentally hit the call button on Sam's phone." I reply.
"Oh." She frowns.
"What I was going to say was tell Luke that you want to spend time with him, tell him that you want to hang out more." I tell her.
"Okay, I will!" She says, the determination in her voice makes me smile.
"Come on, let's go hang out at the mall and you can get some fancy new outfit to look good for your crush." I playfully mock her.
"Shut up bitch!" She replies. We Both giggle at that and head over to the mall for some fun and shopping.
