Jeongyeon

"Ani! Please don't make me do this!" I pleaded to Jihyo who is just watching me being dragged by the male student council's officer.

"Ani! You agreed to help me last time. You should do what you promised." She said crossing her arms.

"But you didn't told me I will be the hugging mannequin! I thought I will just help you set up the booth!" I said complaining.

"No. You became very popular since the performance the other night and that would be a great opportunity to raise funds for the future council projects." Jihyo said ignoring my complaints. "This will be in exchange of Mom's authentic vase you broke drunkard."

If not because of that very expensive vase, I will never agree to do this. Seriously, I'm not comfortable being to intimate especially to strangers. What if they have body odor or what. What if they have a disease and pass it to me? I don't want to die yet.

"Stop exaggerating things idiot. They're just going to hug you for a second or two and they will give us 2 dollars and boom, they're gone. Easy peasy." She said rolling her eyes reading what I am thinking.

Once the booth opened, it created a very long line of students willing to spend 2 dollars for a hug. I think they are crazy!

What annoys me more is the bunny head band Jihyo forced me to wear beside to those girls who could almost tear my body or could kill me of suffocation due to hugging me very tight.

"Smile, idiot." Jihyo whispered to me. Gosh, I can't take it.

I faked a smile to the next student in line when I saw Sana walking with another cheerleader from the school canteen.

I am very happy to see Sana today my gosh. I can't help but to stand from my chair and vigorously wave my hands for her to see me. "Sana-yaaaah!"

She almost spilled her drink seeing my disastrous state. She cracked laughing and went to my direction pulling her friend.

"Oh my gosh! What happened to you!" Sana said avoiding to die in laughter.

"School fund raising." I pouted. "Get me out of here please." I pleaded.

She just chuckled called Jihyo, "How much for a hug?" She said smiling like a devil.

Argh! I thought she is going to save me but she is buying this crazy hugging booth as well.

"2 dollars." Jihyo said hiding her laughter. She knew how Sana teases me every time.

"I'm paying 4 dollars for a kiss." She said and pouted. I opened my mouth to say something but Jihyo was quick to answer, "Deal."

But the students on the line started to complain,

"Me too! I'll pay 5 dollars for a kiss." The girl on the top of the line said.

"10 dollars for a kiss and a hug" another student shouted.

"Fall in line if you want to get her hug!" Another girl student shouted at Sana earning approval from the other students.

Sana was pissed off and looked at them with one eyebrow raised before slamming the table with bills. "20 dollars and Jeongyeon and I are leaving!"

"You can't take her, who are we going to place on her spot?" The student council guy said.

She pushed Irene to them and pulled my wrist, "You can have Irene." Then she pulled me leaving the crowd.

We are both catching our breaths when we reached the university gate. I didn't know she could ran that fast.

"Omo. Thank you. What should I do to repay you." I asked her still holding both of my knees.

She called a taxi and looked at me. "Date me." She said pulling me inside the vehicle.

The car stopped in front of a park but it is not a usual park for dates. This is a Memorial park for Pete's sake. Like, is she effin serious?

I know she is crazy for pulling me a date but dating in a memorial park is beyond my imagination. This is insane.

'Ow So you're serious about having date with her huh?'

Stop it mind. You're not helping.

I wanted to ask her if she is joking but I saw the seriousness on her face so I just followed her.

She looked like a very happy child who came home from school. She walked like an angel who found her heaven. She randomly smiles as if she's greeting the gravestones on her path before kneeling down to another gravestone.

"Eomma. How are you doing? Are you doing great? I am sorry I wasn't able to bring anything. I came straight from school." She said running her palm to the cold stone.

I sat beside her and held her on her waist. She looked at me so I gave the best comforting smile I could give. Losing someone you love is no joke especially if it's your parents.

She sat completely on the grass and tears started to cover her eyes. "I miss you Eomma." She broke in tears so I rubbed my hand on her back.

She wiped her tears and forced a smile, "But I will continue to be strong like you wished. Am I doing a good job Mom?"

She looked at me and smiled before shifting to her mother's grave once again. "Eomma, this is Yoo Jeongyeon, she is my room mate. She's helping me shoo loneliness away. I'm sorry Eomma if I'm being a naughty girl. I hope you will not scold me for always teasing her."

I chuckled to her introduction. I looked at her before touching her mother's grave. "Annyeong Haseyo. I'm Yoo Jeongyeon. From now on, I'll be Sana's guardian. I promise to protect your daughter with all my powers." I said flexing my arms to show some muscles earning a punch from giggling Sana. "Seriously, I promise to take care of your kid since she is a little clumsy at times." I said whispering to her mother's grave earning another smack from her so I stood and ran away laughing.

"You're so mean. And FYI. You don't have superpowers." Sana said running after me.

I stopped running and waited for her. "I will show it to you later." I said and held her hand. "Say goodbye to Auntie."

She raised are hands and waved to her mother. "Good bye Eomma!"
