Pokémon Types Ranking

Ok, before I keep rating and analyzing other new 'Mons, I guess that you should know what I overall think about pokémon types overall (this could help you to undeestand behind my pokémon rating) so here's a ranking of all 18 types!

I'm not gonna spend too much time explaining the reasons behind each placement though, there are too many types lol

(At the botton of this section, there's a quick synthesis of all placements :3)

Let's start shall we?

18) Rock type

Not only I think rocks are uninteresting asf (lmaoo), but this type also feels kind of useless offensively (there are lots of alternatives to it) and it's weak to both water AND grass AND fighting defensively, (these types are all really common).
Thus, pokémon who get this type are usually my least favourites in every gen.

17) Nornal type

I already said that I'm no really keen on normal types, that's not really because of the pokémon who share this type. In fact, I really like pokémon like Sawsbuck, Snorlax, Exploud etc.
It's completely understandable why normal types look so "normal": that's the point of normal type after all. However, I truly think that most of the pokémon in this cathegory look way too unoriginal. That doesn't mean they're bad, they're simply uninteresting! In addition to that, I really hate how the normal type sucks at being effective against other types. It's defensively decent though, but I cannot stand it being absolutely offensively poor against literally everyone.

16) Bug type

If I were to create this ranking a couple of gens ago, I would have 100% placed bug type below rock type. With the last couple of gens bug type grew on me a lot, especially because of pokémon like Golisopod (Love u Guzma) and most recently Centiskorch. They really understood how to design buf type pokèmon ans I'm really happy about it!
However, I still dislike this type for its interactions: It is offensively and defensively really poor (I particoularly hate the fact that it isn't very effective on both fight and fairy type, does that even make sense?)

                 15) Ground type

While I like a lot of ground type pokémon and I consider this type to be on if the best types in the game, I don't really like it because of how offensively strong it can be against a lot of pokémon that I really enjoy using, to the point that I really find it annoying to verse and boring to use.

14) Iron type

Pretty much the same could be said for Iron type, which is defensively op and with the introduction of fairy type just got an insane offense buff (even though it lost his resistances to dark and ghost types). Overall I don't reallt mind a lot of pokémon belonging to this type, but I just feel it's a bit too easy using such a strong type during my runs

13) Poison type

Poison type has always been really interesting, too bad that it's always been a poor type offensively. I love poison type pokèmon designs overall, and the introduction of fairy type made poison type seem a lot better offensively speaking which is awesome. It's worth mentioning that poison is actually pretty good on defense.

12) Fighting type

I always bring at a fighting type in my team, because I consider it to be fairly strong yet not boring to use/verse. However, what makes me dislike fight type at some degree, is its pokèmons' designs, which I consider to be some of the worst out of every typing. Good thing that I really enjoy using fight type a lot though, otherwise it'd be much, much lower. (I'm so happy they deleted Crabominable)
