***Aubrey's POV***

As promised, Darius caught my rash. I was worried he would be upset over that little fact, but after a series of conversations between us he seemed more proud that he too would have wings.

I still wasn't sure exactly what to expect from this new asset but, I was confident that Persephone wasn't planning on making me look like the hunchback of Notre Dame. I will say that the branding was turning into a bad ass tattoo, for both of us.

We were up early finishing the preparations for the Luna and female Warrior ceremony. I was nervous. Although, excitement outweighed all my emotions. All four, of us ladies, were ready to officially take our places in our Royal pack.

We weren't able to actually go into the ballroom where the ceremony was being held. The guys wanted us to be surprised. So, we spent the majority of our time actually messing around, only answering questions or phone calls.

Around 10 AM the guys sent us off to the spa, followed by having our nails done. Then we headed to the salon to have our hair and make up done. This, we could have done on our own, however Darius wanted us pampered for our big day. It's both relaxing and exhausting to sit and be fawned all over.

With two hours left to go before the ceremony, we headed home to put on our dresses and accessories. The girls looked stunning and I was feeling a bit frustrated that I didn't at least pick out a pair of earrings to go with my dress. That day at the shopping center was all just too a little overwhelming. I understood how I was unable to concentrate on such details.

As we stood in our dresses, I couldn't help but ponder on all the events in my life that had led me to such a magnificent life. In all honesty, I would go thru it countless times to be where I am today. This life had already exceeded my human life in way too many ways.

"Aubear?" Claire called.

"Yeah." I answered as I snapped out of my daze.

"You zoned out babe." Luce recalled.

"Just thinking about what it took to get here, and how I am so lucky." I replied truthfully.

"Focus on today. Don't let anything take away from this moment." Abi coached.

"Don't worry, nothing could ruin how I feel in this moment. But, I do want to tell you guys something." I started.

Claire, Luce and Abi looked at me with concern. I quickly went on with it. There was no need for them to be troubled.

"I just wanted to thank each of you. You have quickly claimed your places in my heart. I feel deep adoration for all three of you. Thank you for accepting me and for accepting your mates. You each have been a pillar of strength in my life and I just couldn't have imagined I would ever know that kind of friendship. Now we become family. I love you guys. Thank you for being part of my life." I finished.

"Well, fuck, Aubear." Luce cried.

"Shit, I'm sorry, no tears okay." I whispered as I handed them tissues.

"We love you too Aubrey." They responded.

A knock on the door interrupted our moment. Bryan walked in with a small bag.

"Aubear, Alpha wanted you to wear this." He stated.

I took the bag from his hand and lifted the velvet box out of the tissue paper.
