"Even dollies gotta eat, right?" Jonah teased.
Jack couldn't say no. Jonah was excited to go out with him, and Jack secretly felt the same!
He just had to set a curfew.
"Fine, but I have to be back by 9 atleast." Jack bargained.
"You got yourself a deal there, beauty. Still gives me 3 hours with you." Jonah chuckled.
"A-any idea where you wanna go?" Jack questioned.
"I was thinking Margíos. The Italian place on 5th avenue. Do you like it there?" Jonah raised a brow.
Jack was embarrased. He'd never been. He and Jonah were from different sides of the road: wealthy and broke.
Jack's ideal Italian food was, Olive Garden. And he liked it quite a bit, but that's as expensive as his dinner gets: it was a damn treat to have that. Jonah probably eats bars of gold.
Just be honest, Jack reminded himself, He won't like it if you lie and look like a complete idiot.
"I've a-actually never b-been." Jack smiled weakly.
"What? It's great! Best italiano in New York, I'd even say. C'mon we have to go now." Jonah chuckled with wide eyes.
"Alright fine! We can go!" Jack giggled
"C'mon we'll take my car." Jonah smiled extending a hand. Jack blushed and smiled back as he took Jonah's hand.
The mafia man laced their fingers together as he walked them to his car.
Jack never felt so cared for in his life.
He could feel his jaw hit the ground when he saw Jonah's car. A clean black BMW. It looked so new, and Jack wouldn't be surprised if it was.
"You like? I have many more." Jonah raised a brow with a smile.
"Yeah, rich boy, it's pretty," Jack giggled as Jonah opened the passenger side door for him. He helped Jack in and waited for him to buckle his seat belt, before shutting the door.
Civilary wasn't dead.
"Alright, wanna hear some music? I have some CDs, and you can link to bluetooth if you want." Jonah chuckled.
"Okay, I'll go through your playlist here if you don't mind." Jack agreed as he went through Jonah's case of CDs.
He stumbled upon a, Blink 182 CD and he smiled. Even though Jonah was this diehard rich mafia man, he still had a soft spot for the rock band even, Jack adored.
"Ah you have a thing for my music, I see." Jack joked holding up the CD.
"Duh. That's Nine, probably the best album ever made," Jonah scoffed making Jack laugh "What? You've probably never even heard a better track. Nine is where it's at."
"Can't argue with you there, Jonah." Jack smiled.
"You know it's right. Before every trial or big day, I listen to Nine." Jonah advised.
"I only really listen to it while I clean and stuff. I love music, I love how there's different types so you can always relate to something, ya know?" Jack smiled preciously.
"Yeah I do," Jonah just stared at him. He smiled so happily. That smile was there because of Jack.
Jonah only stared, and erupted in silence. Jack spoke up.
"I-is this the place?" Jack asked pointing to the big lit up, building.
"Yeah, it looks really nice, right?" Jonah joked to lighten the mood.
