Dean's eyes widened, green, glistening eyes resembling the emeralds found hidden in the soil, buried and shielded away from the destructive traces of humankind. The hunter's lips curled into a small smile, his eyebrows raised, making him look like a little, joyful puppy.

Castiel couldn't describe the man in front of him, he couldn't describe the love radiating off of him, the veil of beauty lying over the hunter, filling every oh-so-dark corner of Cas' heart with warmth, however much his angelic body wanted to resist.

Before he knew it, Dean was standing in front of the angel, still naked, but not caring about it at all. He took a few steps towards the man, feeling very self-aware and scared that, whatever he did next, would change everything, the good and the bad.

"I love you too." Castiel grinned, wrinkles forming at the corners of his blue eyes, which were staring directly into Dean's deeply. He could've stayed like this forever, only a few inches away from the love of his life, happy, finally able to feel something for the man in front of him. He had everything now. Everything seemed so great, so...perfect. Almost too perfect.

"Can I kiss you now?" Dean's voice was hesitant, although he acted as if he was totally confident about himself. He bit his lip anxiously, his face so near to Cas' that he could feel the angel's hot breath against his nose. Castiel nodded slowly, not moving but waiting for Dean to fill the almost unbearable gap between the two men.

The hunter did as he was expected, placing his lips on the angel's softly, embracing him in a loving kiss, which meant much more than all the other kisses they had shared before. He slung his arms around Castiel's waist, holding him tight against his muscular body as if he was afraid that, if he didn't, Cas would disappear.

He moved his lips in sync with the other man's , fingers tracing his hipbone, making Cas' skin burn at these places. He dragged his mouth down to Castiel's neck, sucking at the sensitive skin to form mark after mark, purple love-bruises, which told everyone who the angel belonged to.

"I'm so happy I met you." Castiel gasped in between kisses, trying to regain his breath as his forehead leaned against Dean's. The hunter only nodded, not able to form any words. He was like in trance, staring down at their intertwined hands as he tried to understand what had just happened.

"So..." He looked up, eyes meeting Cas'. How would he say this? How would he ask? It was just a question, just a normal sentence, yet he couldn't quite say it. He was way too scared of the answer, dreading it to be the thing he definitely didn't want to hear. And what if exactly this answer would be said by his angel? What if all those things didn't really matter, and Dean was just too much of a dreamer?

Of course, not everything could go back to the way it used to be, there were too many things that had happened. Feelings had been shared, looks exchanged, secrets revealed, words had been said that no one had intended to say, and it couldn't be neglected. But despite all those things and although Dean knew that it was probably the worst choice he had ever made, nothing had ever felt so right. And because of that, he smiled, brushing his index finger across Cas' cheekbone lovingly as he said out loud what he had intended to say so many moments before.

"Would you like to be my boyfriend?...Once again?" He stared into the sapphire pool in front of him, waiting for Cas' answer yet being able to guess what the angel was about to say. "Yes." His smile turned into a grin as he kissed the man in front of him once again, not being able to stop himself from shaking in excitement and happiness.

"I'm just saying..." "Why is everything so complicated with those angels?" Sam pinched the bridge of his nose, his eyes shut close as if trying to suppress reality the best he could. Gabriel sighed, a pityful look on his face. "Stop." "Stop what?" Sam rolled his eyes. "Stop looking at me like that." "Like what?" Gabriel furrowed his brows, his patience slowly starting to decrease. It really wasn't his fault, he just wanted to tell Sam the dangers about being an angel, especially in Cas' situation, but the hunter just didn't seem to want to be confronted with any more drama.
