C.13 Flashback

~Continuation of Flashback~

Jimin's half

An hour later~

I came back with a cart full of chips and snacks for the fourteen-hour flight we have to endure. And I don't want no airplane food.

I went to the chocolate isle and I already saw Rosé there, probably waiting for me.

I headed behind her and tried to scare her but she ended up looking back and said , "what are you doing?" . I shrank away , embarrassed with myself.

"So, are we gonna check-out now?" She asked as she waited for my response

I looked at her and said "Sure" I get my cart , and said again , "race you there!"

I speeded to the the nearest cashier , but the fast woman got there before me!
But I have to admit that she is very fast. I caught up to her as she laughed in victory.

"You shouldn't challenge me to a race, especially because my roommate, Lali is very competitive. And I get my competitiveness from her" she said proudly as I shrugged it off

"Ok sure, Roseanne" I said without remembering what happened last time. "Oh, sorry. I forgot-."

"No, it's fine. " she said in a quiet and calm voice "I got over it"

A little after that , we didn't speak, but we just kept on scanning our items.

When we were getting our grocery bags, I offered to carry hers. But she insisted that she should carry it.

When we reached the van, we dropped off our bags.

"So, where should we eat?" I asked as I put down the back door

"I'm not really hungry, but I'm up for some ice cream!" She said excitedly as we head inside.

"Cool, I was going to suggest that too!" I said maybe too enthusiastically , but she wouldn't mind, right?

I'm very conscious when it comes to things like this.

"You're very cute " she mumbled , as we entered the Dairy Queen that was in front of the entrance.

'Did she just call me cute?'

I bushed at the thought, but I don't know why.

"What would you like to order?" The cashier lady asked

"I would like a 'ddalgi' (strawberry) ice cream (딸기  아이스크림)"  Rosé said as she pointed to the menu

"I'll get the same" I said

"Ok , two ddalgi ice creams. Is there anything else?" She asked , we shook our heads "Ok, take a seat, we'll just bring the ice creams there."

We paid and sat down at a table with two chairs.

Rosé was talking about random strategies she thought of when we were in the van that we can suggest to the others until the ice cream lady brought us our ice creams.

We thanked her and she left.

Soon after, someone from across the little shop, said "Well , isn't this a surprise?"

We turned around to look at the voice.

It was a pretty girl who looked like a foreigner. I turned to look at Chaeyoung, and her face was filled with different emotions, disgust , anger, sadness, and etc.

I asked her what was wrong , and she responded with "That's the bitch who got me expelled from school."

I was a bit confused but I just nodded pretending that I understood.

The girl , along with her other friend who also looked like a foreigner, came near us and faced Rosé.

Rosé stood up to get to their level, and asked "How can I help you , miss?" With the sweetest tone she can speak with.

"Oh, don't act like you don't know us , Roseanne." The other girl said , then she looked at me "Oh, is this your boyfriend?" She asked and  just sat there

"He could've found better , like me." The girl said arrogantly

"Excuse me , but I don't know you" I said in a clueless tone

"Roseanne, you didn't even to think of telling your boyfriend of me?" The girl said "I'm Kim Lily , Roseanne's Ex-Best friend, the girl she almost killed."

I looked at Rosé and she tensed up.

"I'm sorry , but I don't know you. " Rosé said in a sterner voice "And if I did , why would I have been friends with a poser?"

"Oh, you'll remember, once you take this!" Lily said as she slapped Roseanne across the face twice

Rosé didn't flinch , but she began tearing up. I stood up to comfort her and help her stay up. Lily's friend took her away and left the store.

Rosé looked at me and said, "Thank you for helping me stay up , but I think I could stand on my own" She said with an angelic smile that has been bruised by the slap

I stopped holding her waist and said,  "Let's go buy some clothes for the trip?" As I grab our ice creams

"Sure."

Jungkook's Half

Currently it's 4'o clock in the afternoon and we are headed to the exit.

Lisa and I were still laughing about what happend earlier, and thought that we should prank all our hyungs and noonas more.

We arrived at the car park and headed to our van and saw that everyone was already there, waiting for us. So , we hurried up and placed our newly-bought items at the back , and went inside the van and sat down.
