"When I look at you, I forget about everything else."

Harry Styles: Adore you

The sunlight poured into the room, causing the room to light up. A breeze from the open window blew warm air over the bed, and a smile crept onto my face as I could hear every peaceful sound and smell the freshness of the air. It was a perfect day to go to Marks house. I could open his windows and blinds and let the sunshine in, we could even swim in his pool, if he'd get out of the house.

If he'd get out of that room for once, I should say.

But the thing was, I wasn't in my apartment. I was already at Marks, and in fact, in his bed. I turned, seeing Mark asleep next to me. I didn't even notice that the two of us were holding hands. My face became flushed as I looked down at our hands, and Mark looked so peaceful as he laid there. "Huh!?" It all sank in however.

Marks eyelids lifted from his slumber as he looked up at me.

How can he still be so hot?!

"Hi best friend," he managed to say.

That's right...he's only my friend, nothing more. "Hi.."

"You were really drunk last night, you know?" He chuckled. "Your secrets safe with me."

"I didn't drink that mu-," it dawned on me. "Secret?"

"Yeah, you know," he smiled. "I'm kinda glad you told me, because I feel the same way when I look at her.

Her.."Amy?"

He shook his head. "No," he teased.

"But you're always with Amy?" I was confused now. Who was I talking about, and who was he talking about? "Right?"

"No, I'm always with you," he chuckled. "Amy's just my friend."

"Then who am I?" I furrowed my brows.

He didn't answer me. "What do you want for breakfast?"

The day passed, and it was finally night. "Do you want to watch a movie before I go?"

"What if we build a fort? That sounds more fun to me," he smiled.

He collected the cushions from the couch and placed them next to things that would keep them up. We pulled the coffee table away from the couch and put it where it wouldn't be in our way. We put chairs on the couch, upside down to hold the blankets, which we grabbed from Marks bedroom. We wrapped the living room like a Christmas present.

"Now can we watch a movie?"

"No, we're gonna play games!" Mark's eyes sparkled.

I've liked Mark from the first day I met him, and now I'm just in love with the fact he wants me to be in our blanket fort and play games. "What game?"

"Hm, I didn't really think that through; we'll have to look."

Upon him looking, I couldn't help but notice how happy he was. Why was he so happy? "Mark?"

"Yes?" He turned to me after putting the game into the consol.

"Why did you want me to stay?" I knew something was up, he didn't want me to leave.

"Because," he got closer to me, "when I look at you, I forget about everything else." I lied there looking up at his brown eyes that only spoke of love. "I can't seem to get you off of my mind, even though you're my best friend." His hand cupped my face as his other was on his own, also propping him up. "I really want to kiss you," he whispered.

"Then kiss me."

"What?"

"Kiss me," I pulled his face towards me closing the gap between us. His lips and mine fit perfectly, and I couldn't imagine anything better than this. "Because I love you."

He chuckled. "I know, no, knew. I knew you did from the get go."

"Oh."

"I did too."
