I think love is so misunderstood, from a young age that when we have love its ruined because it never is the vision we have.

Because, you watch the disney movies, and love is usually portrayed like boy meets girl, they love eachother and thats it.

They dont show the crying, at 2 a.m. thinking about loosing them, the texts sent with full paragraphs of problems, the other people trying to tear your love apart.

So when we think love, instead we think kissing in the rain, laughing with drinks in paris, dancing in a ballroom.

But what love can be is degrading, a lot of fights, uncertainty, and days with no light left.

And that doesnt always mean you leave, you grow together and work out arguments. But the world we live in is full of people whose first instinct is to leave when things go wrong or not how they expected. Thats not love. Thats having your heart on lock. Sometimes your heart has to break a little to love harder. When you love someone, your heart is gonna hurt one way or other because you are vunerable.

But people leave eachother, over problems with solutions. Maybe thats why the divorce rates are so high.
