hey guys. so i know my last attempt at writing a story was totally crap but I'm gna try again and hopefully this time I'll do better :) 'kay, so here goes !

prologue

Eli and Rocsi had been together on and off since she was 17 (he was 2 years older than her) and in her first year of college. he had broken her heart 2 times already and now she was 19- almost 20.

a couple of months ago he'd broken her heart for the 2nd time. this time however, he he hadn't wanted to. he was truly in love with her as she was with him but something had changed. one night when he was coming home late a strange man had followed him. the man was a vampire and had been following Eliaroundfor a couple of weeks. he liked what he saw- Eli was strong  and smart and he (the vampire) was getting old. he needed someone to help him find a witch so that he could sacrifice her to gain strength and power. and so, he turned Eli into a vamp.

once eli had awoken (as a vampire) and realised what had happened he knew that he had to break it off with Rocsi immediately despite what they had. he knew that if she stuck around with him she would never get the life she deserved. her life would always be in jeopardy and he couldn't allow that. he loved her too much!

what he (and she) didn't know though was that she was actually a witch until one day William ( the vampire dude that changed Eli) heard word about her from one of his friends. he then ordered Eli to go track her down and bring her to him. he had no idea that Eli knew her and was was secretly (still) in love with her. Eli knew that he couldn't let that happen so he went to her dorm (she was at uni) and set it on fire so that William would think she had died. then he kidnapped Rocsi and bought her to his apartment and .. this is where the story begins !

chapter one

"What the fuck!?" She exclaimed as he dropped her on the bed. "Let me go jerk! what the hell do you think you're doing?!"

"Stop it!" he glared furiously. "Your can't go out. Stop being so difficult!"

"Difficult?! Trust me, you ain't seen nothing difficult yet." As she stopped struggling, she realised that he was still holding her.

"Let go of me, freak. I'm ain't gonna run, swear down." He blinked as if he hadn't realised and then cautiously let go of her.

"Alright, just calm down and please, I'm begging you! trust me."

"trust you!" she scorned. "why? give me one good reason as to why i should trust you!"

"look, i know I've done you wrong and you hate me and whatever else but this is serious. let me break it down for you; I'm a vampire, your a witch, William the vampire that turned me 2 months ago is looking for you because basically he's getting weaker by the minute and he needs to sacrifice a witch so that he can regain strength. someone told him that you are a witch so you're on his radar.. well except your not right now cause I've burned down your dorm and bought you over here so that he thinks you've died so here we are!"

he drew a deep breath and looked at her. she just stared at him dumbfounded. they stayed that way for a couple of moments until she finally got her wits together.

"look, i dont know what the fuck your tryna play at and quite frankly imsick of your games. all i want is out so just take me back and leave me the fuck alone! i am nota witch OK so stop messin with me cause its sick." she said shakily.

"Rox, please, i swear I'm not messin. you need to open your eyes and see things for what they are OK cause right now your in some serious shit- we both are." he lifted a hand as if to touch her and she flinched. she didn't want him anywhere near her. she hated him, he had broken her heart way too many times!

"I'm not a witch," she whispered but suddenly she started recalling all the weird things that had happened to her that she had never been able to understand- how when she got angry she could make the windows rattle and just little things like that. she knew things were off but she didn'twant to admit them- who would?

"oh God," she moaned as she closed her eyes, drew her knees to herself and rocked herself back and forth. "oh God, oh God, oh God.."

"hey, shh. its okay, its all gna be okay." Eli murmuredas he came and sat down next to her and gathered her in his arms and for a moment they both stayed that way until some thing in Rocsi's brain clicked. he was a vampire! she jumped up and ran blindly to the other side of the room violently trembling. he looked at her confused and then realised what caused this sudden reaction.

"I'm not gna hurt you," he said and she detected a hint of sadness in his voice but she still didn't relax. she couldn't trust him. she couldn'tmake that mistake again, if she did she knew that that this time it would truly crush her.

"you already have." she said as she bit her bottom lip and looked away. she was trying really hard not to cry.

"i know, and I'm really sorry." came his soft reply.
