I stood there dumbfounded, staring at the front door that she's previously slammed. I thought for a moment. I could order an Uber and go home because my social anxiety is acting up and Jeongyeon is - yeah I don't even want to get into that.

Or, I could do what any logical teenager would do and get so fucked up I can't even speak.

Without another moment of hesitation, I swung open the door, practically walking into Chaeyoung's arms. "Is Tzuyu here?"

"She's waiting for her dealer to show down by the pond. You're welcome to go and look for her, but she's having a moment with Momo and I don't want to get in the middle of their mutual dive into drug addiction." Chaeyoung said, laughing loud enough for me to hear over the music. That was the thing about Chaeyoung. She has this magnetic personality, despite being a quiet and shy artist. She's so charismatic in the way she carries herself. I almost never don't want to be around her, despite not being as close with her as Tzuyu is.

"That's fine. How are you feeling?" I asked her, putting a hand on her shoulder concernedly.

"I'm fine. Just trying to manage this party. Didn't realize how many people actually tolerated Sana.." Chaeyoung coughed and cleared her throat after speaking, almost as if cleansing herself of the ill thoughts she was having of her.

"You know Sana. She knew everyone and has them all wrapped around her finger. Even in death, apparently." I shrugged.

"Mina's been looking for you, by the way. She needs to talk to you, I guess." Chaeyoung said, smiling at me reassuringly.

"I'll go look for her. Be safe." I said to Chaeyoung, locking eyes with her. I turned around on my heel and looked for Mina in the crowd of people suffocating Chaeyoung's house.

Upon finding her by her high-pony, her signature look at the moment, I approached her and tapped her lightly on the back. "Hey, you wanted to talk to me?"

She waved off the person she'd been speaking to previously and smiled at me. "How have you been, Nayeon? Long time no talk. I've missed seeing my bunny."

"I've been busy." I said, finding Jeongyeon sitting in the corner of the room with a dab pen in her hand and a friend or two around her. "The grieving process is hard. Hey, let's go look at the kitchen!" I distracted, grabbing her by the hand and leading her away from the mass of people in the living room.

As we reached the kitchen, I shrugged and smiled at Mina. We looked around for the kitchen before being greeted by what looked like at least 15 bottles of various kinds of alcohol. I looked around and spotted a back porch where a group of people were smoking weed.

"I need a shot. And bad." I said, making my way over to the table. I grabbed a plastic solo shot cup and poured fireball into it. Mina grabbed a shot cup and poured gin into it. "Ready?"

"Yeah, I am." We clinked our shots together and took them. I coughed obnoxiously and laughed. "I need another."

"I think I'm good. Look, I'm gonna go find somebody to dance with. Have fun." Mina said firmly.

"Are you okay?" I asked her, putting my hand on her arm.

"I just don't want to watch you eye-fuck Jeongyeon all night. Sorry." She walked away into the crowd.

I felt my heart drop into my feet. I quickly poured another shot and downed it. Before I knew it, I was on my fifth.

"Nayeon!" I heard a voice yell. I turned my head back and saw my friend Momo enter the kitchen. I waved at her and ushered her over to me, quickly pouring a shot of her favorite alcohol, blueberry vodka.
