A few weeks later, Maddi had changed little by little. She realized how rude and mean she was for bullying such innocent kids. She didn't think she'd become a bully, but she just turned into one out of all the hurt she was feeling. She stopped inflicting her hurt onto those other kids and tried to be nicer to them.

As for her "friends," she still talked to them, but stopped letting them influence her.

She would've went back to Jo, Cam, and Jason, but she was just scared. She was so mad at herself for becoming the person she did and knew they must've been mad, too. She was even too scared just to say hi. She would pass by them and just get a quick glance, and walk to her seat.

They noticed she was changing a little. They were really surprised. Jo told Cam and Jason about when she talked to Maddi, and they were glad she was turning back to old Maddi. They were also very surprised to hear about her sickness. They decided to go up to her, but Maddi didn't want to talk to them. She was scared. She didn't know what to do.

At some times, Maddi was still a little mean in school because she got used to that, but she tried to break her bad habits.

One day, after school, she sat down on the benches alone wanting some time to think before she went home. Most people have gone home and the people that were there didn't want to be near her. She felt lonely sitting there, but it made her think of the person she was and how much she regretted doing that. She got a paper and pencil and let herself out in a drawing. That was her favorite thing to do, and the only thing she was really good at.

While she was drawing, she saw her real friends walk out of a classroom, laughing and looking as if they've been having a lot of fun. She started missing the old days and how it was before. She continued to draw and tried to not look at them.

They turned that way and saw Maddi sitting by herself. They looked at each other and didn't know what to do. They just stood there and talked with each other as Maddi drew. They would've sat at the benches next to her, but they just didn't know what they should do. They were a little scared of what might happen if they did.

They turned at Maddi and remembered the person she used to be, they thought of her sickness and felt so bad for her. They wanted to become her friend again, but she seemed as if she didn't want them to be.

Suddenly, Maddi started to have a hard time breathing. She let out groans of pain as she put her hand over her heart. They knew it was her sickness. They rushed up to her and helped her up. It was a crucial time, so Maddi didn't have the strength to argue with them or talk about the drama they've been through. Jo, Cam, and Jason were just interested in helping her and didn't even think about the drama at the moment. They helped her to Jason's car and drove her to the hospital.

"Are you okay, Maddi?" asked Cam.

"Okay, just try to breath slowly." said Jo.

Maddi tried to breath slowly, but there was so much pain. It felt like an elephant was stomping on her chest. It hurt so much.

They arrived at the hospital and they immediately brought her to the ER.

They sat in the room, waiting for the doctor to come out, then Maddi's parents came in.

"Where's Maddi?"

"Where's my daughter?" they asked.

They explained what happened and waited until the doctor finally came out. He talked with Maddi's parents and explained what was happening with Maddi. He told the that they have to run some tests and whatnot so after the permission of the parents, they did so.

They waited and waited there, worrying about Maddi.

"Is she gonna be okay?" Cam asked her parents.
