Maddi was going to graduate today. She been working hard with Leo's motivation and her friends support.

Even though it didn't happen the way she dreamed it would be, she was just grateful she was able to live till this day.

She sat up in her hospital bed and stood before her family, friends, and teachers. She wore her graduation hat as friends wore their graduation outfits, since they just came back from their ceremony.

Everyone was so happy as she received her diploma. Most of them were even crying. Cam, Jason, and Jo were the first ones to hug Maddi. They were so happy for her. They took pictures together, never wanting to forget this moment.

All Maddi's teachers that helped her then went up, hugged her and congratulated her. Her parents came and told her how proud they were of her as tears filled their eyes. Leo made his way through the crowd and hugged Maddi.

"You did it! You graduated." he said with a big smile on his face.

"I know! I can't believe it!" she replied. She looked at Leo and noticed a tear fall down his face.

"Are you crying?" she said, about to laugh, "Guys don't cry!"

"What? No, I just...I just have a little dust in my eye," he said, wiping his eye.

She laughed at him, knowing that was a lie. She hugged him once more before everyone started conversations with her.

Leo leaned by the door watching Maddi being surrounded by her friends and family. Everyone was so happy for her. It was a memorable moment. He watched as she kept a smile on for everyone there, but he knew she was in pain. She was strong, yet still so filled with joy.

After a while it was only Cam, Jo, Jason, Mr. and Mrs. Emerson, and Leo.

"Maddi, we graduated! We're finally done with school!" Cam exclaimed, as she put her arms around Maddi and Jo.

"Yes! No more homework!" Jo said happily.

They laughed together, then Maddi looked at them and smiled.

"So what are you guys gonna do next?" she asked.

"Well, I've already got a college in mind and I'm gonna be a teacher and work as a photographer as a side job," said Cam, "and as you know, people already have been paying me to take pictures for them so my job has already started." she said proudly with a smile.

"Wow, look at you!" Maddi said teasingly, "That's, really great though, Cam. You've always been a great photographer and I know you'll be an awesome teacher."

"Aw, thanks, Maddi." Cam replied.

"How about you, Jo?" Maddi asked as she turned to Jo.

"I'm so excited! I already got accepted into my college. At first, I wanted to be a writer, but then I decided I would do that in my free time. But anyways, I'm gonna be a lawyer!" Jo said, full of excitement.

As soon as Jo said that, Maddi and Cam looked at each other with a face that says "That is so Jo" then looked back at Jo.

"Jo, that fits you perfectly." Maddi said.

"Yep, that sure suits you." Cam said as her and Maddi laughed.

Jo looked at them, "Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm such a debater and love to prove how I'm always right." Jo said as she started to laugh along with them.

After talking for a while, they decided to leave. They went in their way as Leo walked them out.

"I kinda feel bad now for saying what we're going to do in college." said Cam.
