paintings.
lots and lots of paintings placed against a white wall. jennie can't help but get lost in the sea of colors artistically painted into a canvass forming a very alluring image. song mino, a close friend of hers and almost like a family, invited her to his very own exhibit and jennie can't help but be proud of her friend's achievements.
"hey jen." a guy wearing a button up jacket and a scarf on his head approaches. jennie smiles and raises her hands for a quick high five.
"mino! oh my god, these are amazing." she compliments, eyes locked onto the paintings still.
"thank you. i'm glad you came."
"you know i wouldn't miss this for the world even if you annoy me pretty much everytime." jennie playfully rolls her eyes as she glances around the room. wanting to take in the aesthetics the interior provided, her eyes unexpectedly meet a camera lens.
and then a pair of brown eyes.
"hey! stop nagging okay? we're both aware how much of a pain in the ass you are, sister." jennie chuckles yet her eyes are still fixed on those eyes which in some way, somehow, a sudden staring contest commences between jennie and its owner.
let's see. beautiful brown eyes. cute nose. plump lips. a cocky smirk.
hot.
"definitely hot." jennie unconsciously murmurs catching mino's attention.
"what?" and that snapped jennie out of her thoughts making her break the eye contact. she looks up at mino and nervously chuckles.
"what? oh nothing. i said you're too much of a wimp to be my brother so stop calling me sister."
mino snickers causing both of them to chuckle as jennie looks to where the girl is but no one is there anymore.
and without jennie herself knowing, a frown is etched on her face.

jennie looks at this particular art piece once and she knew then and there that it is her favorite out of everything with the way the colors complement each other and message it conveys.
"beautiful, right?" jennie looks to her side and sees a girl clad in an oversized hoodie, jeans and those specs which frames her beautiful face with a camera hanging around her neck. she recognizes her from earlier. jennie looks down and back to the painting, cheeks flushing the same red hue as that of the artwork in front of her. light yet noticeable.
the owner of those brown eyes.
jennie clears her throat and regains her composure,
"definitely. this really caught my attention." jennie softly says and smiles inwardly feeling giddy all of a sudden, not knowing the reason why.
"yeah, same for me."
too strong. jennie feels the intensity of the girl's eyes as if boring holes into the side of her face. such intensity that is damn too hard to fight and succumb to.
jennie looks up to yet again lock gazes that only lasted for a few seconds because the girl abruptly looks onto the painting, her throat visibly rising and falling as she gulps... nervously?
glad to know i have an effect on you. jennie smirks with an eyebrow raised as she smoothly continues the conversation.
"love this piece of art. i'm jennie kim by the way.."
