Goodbye pt. II

**

"I got to go now, love."

"Don't miss me too much, okay? I love you. Stay safe. I'll be back before you know it."

Those were Lisa's last words before leaving for Real Men an hour ago. Before Lisa went to her room, she was actually contemplating on whether or not she should go out and send Lisa off. But being the coward yet prideful lady that she is, she ran and pretended to be asleep as soon as she heard footsteps approaching. She knew it was Lisa. She heard how the two conviced the girl to see her one last time before leaving.

She heaved a deep sigh. She has been staring at the ceiling for an hour now but she already feels sad. She misses Lisa.

I should've atleast said my goodbye. She thought.

Jennie decided to go and join the girls in the living room hoping the two could help her diminish her longing.

"Unnie... Lisa already left an hour ago." Chaeyoung said as soon as she saw Jennie drag herself into a couch.

"I know."

"You know? So you were awake? But Lisa told us you were asleep. Were you just pretending?" Jisoo blabbered to which Jennie nodded. "Aish Jendeuk... if you only saw how Lisa walked out of our dorm. She looks really disheartened." She tsked.

"Unnie stop it you're making me feel guilty." The younger pouts.

"My goal exactly." Jisoo sighed even more dramatically. "She looked so down while saying goodbye to us one last time. How do you think would she be able to focus on the military training now that she left with you two still not in good terms. That alone would keep her preoccupied."

Jennie bit her lip, even more regretting after hearing what Jisoo has said. She can clearly picture Lisa's sad face and that thought makes her heart contract in pain.

"What should I do, unnie? Tell me... I'm so stupid!" She feels restless. She remembers that Lisa would be gone for a couple of days - no communication but she still chose to be stubborn and ignore her.

"You can't do anything about it now. She already left. It has also been an hour, she maybe inside the camp now. Unless..." Jisoo drawls.

"Unless what unnie?" Chaeyoung asks curious of what the oldest has to say. Jennie too has her ears completely awaiting her words.

"Unless she still hasn't arrived at the camp duh..." Jennie almost laughed when she saw Chaeyoung's face filled with dissapointment. They both thought Jisoo has a brilliant idea with how she spoke. Turns out nothing.

"What I meant was maybe you still have time to talk to her even if it's just on the phone. Better than nothing right?" Jisoo smiles.

"Genius!" Chaeyoung claps.

"It's me. Kim Jisoo." She boasts.

Jennie quickly ran to her room to get her phone. She dialed Lisa's number as soon as she got a hold of it. Her heart was thumping like crazy as she walks back to the living room, waiting for Lisa to pick up. After several rings, she dropped the call and tried again. She can't situate herself in one place and keeps on walking around the living room, getting impatient.

"Pick up pick up pick up..." She chanted mindlessly.

"She's not answering?" Chaeyoung asks. Jennie shook her head, eyebrows furrowed, the situation is frustrating the hell out of her.
