[13] Swapping Phones

Dear Diary,

I'm an idiot.

That's really all I can say right now. I'm an idiot.

For the rest of the day yesterday, I didn't bother talking to Valentine, and neither did he to me.

But guess what?

I'm here again, sitting down, and he's here too, beside me, his arm around me, as I try to ignore him, talking absentmindedly to Holly... until my phone vibrates.

I take it from the pocket of my skirt. Checking the message. Once I see that it was from my mom, I ignore it.

"What're you doing?" Valentine asks, grabbing my phone from my hands, and tapping away on it.

"Hey! Give it back!" I complain, reaching out for it, but of course, the idiot was taller than me. I didn't really put up much of a fight though, "Fine, but give me your phone too."

He slips his hand into the pocket of his uniform, pulling his phone out and handing it to me.

Without a word, I take his phone and unlock it. Luckily, there wasn't a password. I scrolled through his phone, checking his pictures.

I make a face, seeing a picture of Cotton. She was leaning forward, using her phone. Since she was leaning, her boobs were pretty much on display, and Valentine just happened to take the opportunity to snap a picture.

Typical.

I roll my eyes, scrolling through more pictures. There were selfie after selfie, pictures with his family, and some of his friends too. One picture though, made me freeze.

It was me.

It was from that pizza place, when we had to make pizzas. I was in the middle of talking to Lana.

Something inside me turned, seeing a picture of me in his phone. I wanted to gush, to tease him about it, but... I didn't.

I deleted it.

I then turned to look at him. "Why do you have a picture of me?"

He simply shrugs, "I was bored. Just delete it."

A part of me frowned at his words, but I ignored it. "Already did." I say, "Can I have my phone back?"

And we swapped back.
