Dear Diary,
Let's just say it felt like a reunion today...
I squeal, running into Holly's arms, "I missed you so much!" I squeeze her in a tight hug, "It felt like weeks!"
"It WAS weeks." She points out, laughing as she let me go.
I proceed to walk over to Lana, who was hugging Kat. If you don't remember Kat, I perfectly understand that.
I only mentioned her once, when we were lining up for the pizza making.
We don't always hang out with her, but we're still good friends.
"Can I join?" I tease.
They open their arms wide enough for me to join their cozy hug.
"I've missed you guys!"
"Class!" Mr. Denver speaks, interrupting everyone's reunion. "We're having a special activity. Since you've all just got back, I thought we'd do something fun... tomorrow."
I frown even he adds the last word.
"We're going to be cooking." He finishes.
The girls grin at the thought of cooking in school, though some of they boys didn't look too happy about it.
I've never actually cooked before, since mom was the only one cooking our meals, but the thought always excited me. Seeing her expertly flip pancakes or make scrambled eggs always made me want to try it too.
"Now, group yourselves into three." Mr. Denver instructs.
Once we finished. There were two groups of boys, and one group of us girls.
There weren't much girls in this class. There were actually only four of us. Lana, Holly, Kat, and I.
"Okay," Mr. Denver starts, "Your boiling," he tells the group with Dustin in it. "Your on grilling," he tells the team with Valentine in it. "And your on---" he pauses, looking at our team. "Why so few of you?"
Before anyone of us could answer, Valentine speaks. "Could I be grouped with them?"
I roll my eyes.
It was so typical of him to want to be in our group. He probably just wants to join us so we could do all the work.
If you think its a girl's job to cook, your being sexist. In my opinion, a guy who can cool is VERY cute. Don't you agree?
Before Mr. Denver can open his mouth, I speak. "Sir, can't we just be one team?" I ask, "it would be kinda awkward if we worked with boys."
"Very well. Your team is on frying." He decides. "We start tomorrow, so bring all the cooking supplies and ingredients you'll be needing."
I took a quick look at Valentine, wanting to see his reaction to not being in our group. He wasn't glaring at me though, he was smiling. But once he saw me looking his way, he smirks instead.
Typical.

Ik u might've wanted some Valentine & Sunny shiz , but I was too lousy to remember another eventful thing that he did to me... though there might be one in the next chapter. *wink wink*
Anyway, I guess I forgot to mention this but 'Holly' is reading this book. So tell her your hellos in the comment section.
Oh, and a curious question: What country are you from?
I don't want to sound like a stalker, but m just curious. It still shocks me to know that I have readers from another country.
M from the Philippines, btw. ;)
Okay, I guess that's it. This is probably the longest author's note so far, so I gtg, ilysm!
