[20] The Note

Dear Diary,

I'm crying.

Nah, I'm not.

I'm only MENTALLY crying. Since I needed to be strong...

Weeks have already passed and yes, I've been cussing a bit now, but that's not the point. Let's just get to it.

Holly and I walk inside our classroom. It was currently our lunch break, so no one was in here yet.

Holly creepily walks over to Valentine's desk. Taking a notebook from inside, and opening it.

My mouth hangs open at her actions, staring at her as she flips through it.

I have seen Valentine write a couple of things in it, but I never knew what it was.

I was about to scold her and tell her to return it but... Holly gasps, her eyes widening as she stares at a notebook page.

Curiosity gets the best of me, so I stand beside her, reading too.

Dear Rose,

Oh, I forgot to mention her. She was Valentine's girlfriend before. Before he started being all flirty with me.

They were really cute together and shit, but then they suddenly broke up. I don't really know why though.

Oh, and I don't really feel like putting his note here.

It was kinda long, but that's not the problem. Its that I chose not to. For his sake.

I mean, if someone ever reads through this one day, you'd be reading MY secrets. I couldn't let you read his.

Its kinda invading his personal space... like what Holly and I were currently doing.

Anyway, here's the MAIN point of the note:

Valentine still loves her.

Something inside me twisted, as I read the note, but before I got to finish it, Holly closed it shut, returning it.

I gave her a look, "I wasn't finished."

"He could be here any minute!" She panics, "He'll kill us!"

And we dash out of the room.

And that's why I'm mentally crying. I couldn't cry for real, since I wasn't supposed to like him.

But... something inside me felt odd. Did he still love her?!

Does he still love her? Probably...
