Pic of Valentine on the side!

Dear Diary,
Today was probably the worst day of school EVER! It was all thanks to that no good Valentine!
It all started after our lunch break, during our literature class...
"Everyone, get your novels out and turn them to chapter two." Our teacher says.
Novel? I raise my hand.
"Yes, Sunny?" Our teacher acknowledges me.
I put my hand down, "Umm, what if I don't have a novel?"
"Sweetie, you have to get one from the school library." She tells me, "Go ahead and get one, but make it quick."
I simply nod, stood up, and walked out of the classroom, and in the direction of the school library.
Holly was nice enough to give me a tour of the school yesterday, so I already know my way around.
I walk into the library, walking towards the librarian, "Excuse me."
"Yes Sunny, how can I help you?" The librarian asks.
"Could you please give me a book for my class?" I ask, "I don't really know what book it is, but our teacher said that I could get a copy here."
"Of course." She walks towards a shelf full of books. She removes one from the shelf, and hands it to me, "Here you go."
"Thank you." I smile, before walking back towards my classroom.
I held the thick book in front of me, checking the title of the book.
The Blood of Olympus was right on the cover with the author's name on the bottom, Rick Riordan.
Oh, I've heard of his books. Monday goes crazy over them. She's he's 'biggest fan' as she'd like to say.
The rest of our class went by, it was all intriguing, to be honest. Our teacher told us about chapter two of the book.
Anyway, let's move on. It was now our lunch break, and I just finished eating.
Since I had no where to be, I walked back into my classroom, deciding that I would just read my novel.
Once I stepped inside, I sigh, seeing that half of my class was there too, just chatting about whatever.
So much for reading in peace. I thought, taking a seat on my desk.
"You okay?" Dustin asks me.
Dustin was also a friend of mine. While Holly's desk was at my right, Dustin's was at my left. So basically, we were seatmates.
"I'm fine." I huff, sitting on my desk, "I just couldn't read in silence anymore." I shrug.
Without another word from him, I took my novel out of my backpack, taking it in my hands and started reading.
I pause in the middle of chapter three, zoning out and wondering what it would be like to be a demigod.
"Imagining that your kissing Dustin?" Valentine's voice interrupts my thoughts, making everyone laugh.
"No, I wasn't, I was just---"
"Was he a good kisser?" He interrupts again, making my classmates laugh harder, pointing fingers at me.
I tried reasoning and reasoning, but no one would listen, they just kept laughing and laughing.
I don't really get what's so funny, but apparently, everything Valentine says was counted as hilarious.
I couldn't take it anymore!
I bury my face in my hands, letting my tears fall, lessening the pressure. Me crying didn't really stop them though.
And that's what made me hate Valentine even more.
