Prologue

She got down from the car and walked to the front door of her apartment building, taking the elevator, it's better than taking the stairs, what a waste of time, she thought. Then she finally got to her apartment, opened it and felt relief wash over her almost immediately, after a long and hectic day at the hospital but it didn't last long as she also sensed dread, something was off, she could feel it.
She ever so stealthily walked around the house but saw that everything was as she left it this morning, okayyy,she thought . But as soon as she got to her room what she saw made her blood boil and sent her heart into over drive.
On her bedside table was a note, "you think your mother can hide you and your brothers from me, Shiller? Of course not. I'll always find you. Two can play this game baby girl, tell your mother. Hide and seek is fun, but this time it's MY game and MY rules. I've waited long enough Shiller Bruce!, so now, be prepared because I'm coming soon. IT'S GAME ON sweetheart , watch out!" The letter read.
Okay, how how did this letter even get here? And who the hell is this crazy person after her? How did he/she even know her name or about her family?, no!no!no!no!no!, This is bad so bad. What is she going to do? She panicked. Her brothers she needs to protect them from whoever this maniac is. He mentioned her mother, did she know him?
Okay calm down Shiller, you're overreacting. She looked around again, nothing to show that someone even barged in. Maybe it was even one of her dumb brothers trying to prank her. They do almost everytime. Yeah, it's those dumbos trying to scare the shit outta me, she thought to herself unconvincingly. She had a feeling that shit was about to go down.
