     "Xaviar! Why do I have to keep my eyes closed" I questioned as he led me to God knows where

     "it's a surprise"

"well incase you've forgotten, you gifted me a million dollar diamond necklace and earings this morning. Isn't that enough surprise " I questioned as we came to a sudden halt

     "You can open your eyes now bambina" Xaviar said placing a kiss to her cheek

      I stood in awe as the blindfold was taken off
"oh my goodness!!"

     we were standing in the middle of what seemed like a ball room, it was dimly lit by a sophisticated chandelier.
   I turned away from Xaviar to feed my eyes on the sight before me, the chandelier had an antique but modern look. It had incandescent light bulbs which had arrays of hanging crystal prisms to illuminate the room with refracted light. it also  consisted of multiple lamps which withheld candle lights in it.

      "Layla, do you remember the first day we met?"He said gaining my attention

   "of course! Like I can ever for---" the sentence I had intended on saying was long forgotten by now

     My boyfriend was on a knee before me holding a little box, within it lay the most beautiful ring I had ever set my eyes on. It was the largest internally flawless fancy vivid 59.60-carat pink diamond ring.

This definitely had to be a dream

"I love you so much bambina and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. It'll be an honour to have you as my wife. Please be Mrs me?"

     I was shocked and rooted in place, my hands flew up to my face as tears of joy slipped out. I had always dreamt of the day Xaviar would ask me to be his wife.
        I stared at the blue eyed hunk of man Keeling before me, his shoulder length hair held up mesily as always. When we begun dating I never expected us to get this far but then love kicked in and made everything perfect.

    "Uhm.. So??" He asked unsure

"oh my God - -I'm sor-ry.. Yes! Yes!! Xaviar of course I'll marry you! I'll definitely marry you!!" I screamed in happiness

     "you didn't think I would give you a diamond necklace and earnings with a ring " He slipped the ring in my finger before pulling me in for a kiss. The feeling of his lips on mine was one I could never get tired of

"CONGRATULATIONS!!!!" The sudden noise made me pull away from Xaviar. It was so loud I swear I felt my soul leave my body

  people began trooping into the room filling it up almost immediately. Admits the crowd I caught site of our both families conversing together. That was indeed a sight to behold as they didn't get along well.

     "Layla!!!!" Kay screamed approaching me, her arms pulling me into a hug immediately.
"I'm so happy for you babygirl!"

  When my bestfriend eventually let me go I realized my fiancé had wandered off to talk with his guys.

"You can't even imagine how much happiness I feel right now " I gushed out showing off the huge rock on my finger

"I'm definitely going to be your chief -brides -maid!"

"It's not like I have a choice bestfriend!" I chucked

     " You're finally getting married to the love of your life. But I must say he's quite a catch. I mean look at him, he's rich, extremely good looking, young, did I mention wealthy!?!?" She teased making both of us burst into laughter
  
     it was as if Xaviar had heard our inside joke cause the moment we had calmed down from our laughter fit, we locked eyes and he gave the most breath taking smile which instantly made my knees get weak.
