Holly sat up and stretched out her arms and legs expecting them to crack like they always did. There wasn't a sound, she didn't hear a sound, she didn't feel any pain, that was new. She pets all three heads on Cerberus and pulled an outfit out of her bag. She really should unpack if they were going to be staying there for a while, but she would do that when Mal and Evie were awake. It was only 6:30.
She sat at the provided vanity and put on some eyeliner as Evie's alarm went off, rousing both her and Mal. The fairy groaned and turned over in her bed seeing Holly already wide awake, "How are you up so early?"
Holly laughed, "Your godly genes are weak when compared to your fairy DNA, gods don't need to sleep as much. Fairies though need to sleep a little more. Less than humans but more than me."
Mal rolled her eyes and got out of bed. Holly pulled her hair back into a ponytail and pulled on her boots, "I'm gonna go see Hadie before class."
"Whatever," Mal grumbled. "Evie come on; I need that bathroom!" She yelled pounding on the door.
"Don't wake up the whole hall," Holly said, rolling her eyes.
She tried to make her way to the middle school, but got horribly lost, "Oh hi Holly," a melodic voice called out. Holly jumped and turned around to see Melodea sitting outside the hall on the grass. She hopped to her feet and made her way over to her cousin. "What are you doing up so early? I thought the new class wasn't till 7:30."
Holly glared at the young god, she could already tell she would be a pain, "What are you doing up so early?" She shot back.
Melodea just smiled, "I'm the goddess of intention, morals, and gardens oh and music I had to beg Apollo for that one though. Meaning there's not much I can do to exhaust my powers unless I'm making the flowers and fruits around the school grow, so I don't really need to sleep. I'm almost always awake." Fear welled up in Holly as she realized how close they all were to being caught last night; it was by pure luck that they missed her. "Your turn."
She snapped back to reality, "I was looking for the middle school. "Me and Hadie always get coffee before school. I don't know if they have coffee here but-"
"Oh, they do, I can grab Hye and the four of us can go."
Holly forced a smiled, "Perfect."
~~~
The coffee run actually wasn't horrible actually. The coffee was much better than it had been on the isle, not to mention what happened when Chole found them. "Hye, Hadie!" She shouted running down the lawn towards them. She skidded to a stop in front of them leaning forward on her knees to catch her breath. "Your father stopped by with this," she huffed while holding up a key.
Hye grinned and jumped up, "Sweet! Hadie turned around."
Hadie raised an eyebrow but looked at his sister and when she nodded, he did as he was asked. Hye took the key from Chole, pulled up Hadie's hair and shoved the iron key into the lock on the back of his collar. With a click the collar clattered to the ground with a rather loud thud. His hair burst into flames; he whirled around with wide watering eyes touching his free neck for the first time. The skin around it was raw and red but would eventually heal. Holly covered her mouth in shock, trying to keep the colored tears from escaping. She and Mal had tried for years to get the damned thing off him. Now he was finally free.
Melodea raised an eyebrow and leaned down to pick up the collar immediately she hissed and dropped it. She looked at her hand seeing a slight quickly healing burn, "That thing is evil!" Chole quickly picked it up for her. "Adam and Belle are in a world of trouble when the Olympians get their hands on them."
