Chapter Nine

Just a quick Yume's POV

"Mum! Dad! I'm going to debut as an idol!"

"This is my boyfriend! Eek! Dad! Don't be so angry!"

"Mum! Dad! This is the best birthday cake ever! I'm going out with my friends for a bit but I'll be back!"

"M-mum..... d-dad...... w-what's wrong..... S-S-Subaru.... WHAT DID YOU DO! YOU KILLED THEM!!! I'LL KILL YOU!"

"Goodnight,"

The last thing I saw before I passed out next to my dead parents were Subaru's cold eyes staring down at me as though I was nothing but a piece of trash.

I was so weak back then but now I'm stronger.... strong enough to kill him.

Normal POV now!!

"Yume, let's go home," Koharu smiled. Yume looked at her confused.
"Home?" She wondered. "Where?"
"I mean back to our hometown, we haven't been back there since then.... you haven't even visited their graves," Koharu looked down. "Yume I'm worried-"
"Will visiting their graves bring them back.... will killing Subaru bring them back.... no... but at least once I kill him I'll feel better about myself, I'll stop being weak, that's why Koharu, I won't visit my parents until I can tell them I destroyed him," Yume's bangs covered her face and her expression was unreadable. "Lala should be here soon for training,"
"Oh! That's right! I'll go get your training things," Koharu remembered. She gave Yume one last concerned looking before leaving.
"I will get stronger," Yume mumbled.

"Hello," Lala entered the training ground cautiously. "Anyone here?"
"Lala," Koharu appeared.
"Who are you?" She frowned. Lala didn't remember this girl in front of her.
"We haven't met yet, I'm Koharu, I don't have an ability so I'm more like the assistant around here," she smiled. "Here, change into this," she passed Lala an outfit.
"Ok," Lala nodded.
"Laura should be here soon, she's in charge of training you at the moment," Koharu told her. Lala nodded.

Yume wandered down the street aimlessly.
"Why am I going?" She wondered. "I guess I could do with a pair of boots, my old ones are falling apart," she thought to herself.
Suddenly she saw a certain blonde.
"Yumekawa Shougo," she narrowed her eyes. "Well, I have nothing better to do so I might as well follow him," then she grinned. "I have a better idea,"
She walked over to him and tapped him in the shoulder.
"Excuse me! I'm sorry but I happen to be lost! I'm really bad with directions! Can you tell me where the shopping district is," Yume smiled.
"Oh, it's to the right and straight on, you should see it," he told her. Yume smiled.
"Thanks!" She waved and began walking left.
"Wait! That's left.... not right..." he looked at her as though she was stupid.
"Huh... so it is!" Yume laughed. "Bye!" She ran off. "Ah! That was fun.... oh wait! I forgot to follow him... oh well!"
I hand reached out and grabbed Yume's wrist pulling her into a dark alleyway. There she was slammed against the wall and held down. And familiar pair of sapphire eyes stared down at her. Yume felt her blood boil.
"Let go of me! I'll kill you!" She screamed.
"That doesn't make me want to let go of you," he sighed. "Still an idiot, I see some things don't change, tomato,"
"I'll kill you! Let me go!" Yume struggled out of his grip. Subaru tightened his hold and Yume cried out. "Stop it! That hurts!" She kicked out at him.
"Stop struggling and I won't have to hold you so hard," he argued.
"Shut up!" Yume yelled. "I hate you! I hope you die!" She stopped as she felt something crash down on her lips.
"Did that shut you up?" Subaru smirked, there was a slight blush on his face. Yume turned bright red.
"You bastard!" She mumbled.
"Alright, now that your quiet, that shopping centre you were about to enter, is going to blow up shortly, a failed experiment from the Yumekawa's escaped and it's gunna explode unless you do something," Subaru explained. He released her from his hold.
"Go stop the bomb,"
"Why should I believe you! Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you right here and now!" Yume called after him as he left.
"Because you still love me, so you can't," he smirked as he left. Yume fell to her knees.
"Bastard... go to hell," she muttered. She got up and wiped the tears forming in her eyes. "I need to stop this bomb... a failed experiment.... it should be some kind of odd human... they make me sick," she spat. "Searching now," Yume closed her eyes. "There's something odd about her over there, she's radiating some kind of strange energy," she ran over to the girl. "Sorry but I can't have you exploding!" Yume touched the girls shoulder and she disappeared. "Crisis averted," she smiled. "Now I really need those new boots!"
