Being quiet is the easiest way
To be nice
If you speak
Someone will be upset.
Because no one wants your opinion.
They say they do
But they don't
Especially if it's different from theirs
People say they accept
Other's options
Choices
Lives
But they don't.
They silently judge your option.
It's wrong.
Yet we all do it.
I guarantee you have
And I know I have.
I'm not the victim
But I'm not the perpetrator.
Society crafted us
It made us judge each other.
Even if we try to ignore it.
We silently judge them.
So we stay silent.
If we don't share our opinion
They have nothing to judge us for.
And
If we don't share our judgement
We won't cause an issue.
Communication is a blessing and a curse.
Sometimes being silent is being kind...
